It is salting over herotaru hours okay I’m MAD at how they did the main three so dirty.

They turned Hiyori into an insensitive victim blaming quitter who doesn’t learn from her mistakes when she was an amazing heroine who always did her best in the novels and only quit once and that was because her contract was ending. She didn’t make a last second decision to come back, she thought that she wouldn’t be able to, and it was lipxlip who asked Uchida to let her stay. THAT SHOWS that their bonds were formed!! They are friends!! But in the anime it was only Hiyori and lipxlip stood there like the shocked pikachu meme!! 

They reduced Yujiro to being a little side bitch with no characterization except to be the mysterious boy with a mysterious past but oh it’s okay because his family never hated him or anything, they just are a liiiiil bit strict, but they all love him and support him! He’s only uptight because we need the uptight side character somewhere!

And Aizou?? They just totally erased his trauma and pretended none of it ever happened??? Like??? Hello Yuko is in France, she’s gone. Why was she at his concert? How did she know about it? How did she get the ticket?? Why was she alone and didn’t bring her new husband??? It’s like his abuse never even happened and he just hates women because...whore family! And it makes his friendship with Hiyori look really bad- I mean, really, the whole “I hate all women but you’re different because you’re not like other girls” is a gross trope, and Hiyori doesn’t want to be “r/notlikeothergirls” she wants to be a heroine, she wants to be cute. That was the whole point of the Nagisa-arc!

The herotaru anime botched them up so badly. Anime-onlys PLEASE read the novels...watch the MVs...do NOT listen to the anime...

All of the main trio’s hardships are reduced to practically nothing and it makes the entire dynamic so much worse.

I have most of the novels translated, except for Nonfantasy (someone else has it translated though), we translate for a reason!
