Lea's out of college and done experimenting with her sexuality. She thinks this new town and new life will be a good place to settle down and maybe even find someone. However, what she doesn't know, is that she's a romantic. Before she's shrugged it off as 'not finding the right person' but its time for her time learn the truth. She can't say she's in love. Two possible ways it could end:
Whoa relationship! Oh wait this is getting serious! He says 'I love you' and she can't say it back. He's insulted, she's embarrassed, and cue the falling out.
Whoa relationship! Oh wait this is getting serious! He says 'I love you' and she can't say it back. He's chill about and so is she, cue the causal friends with benefits.
(oh and sorry if your character is pompous, arrogant, abrasive or just plain rude; Lea's not into that. She likes sweethearts)
These Are not the Drugs Your Looking For:
I see there's a few drug dealer/lords around the town and that is awesome (from a story perspective, don't do drugs kids, stay in school) Lea's father is actually one of the biggest Drug Lords in New York so Lea's used to to that crowd. It'd be interesting to see a relationship where Lea knows the person in the the 'bad business' and that person knows she knows, despite her not being a customer. The two ways it could go:
Person thinks Lea know to much and attempts to remove the threat.
Person is cool with Lea knowing the truth and they have a sort of distorted friendship.
Let's Talk About Sex, Baby:
Despite Lea getting along better with guys and having more male friends, Lea still needs someone to gossip with. Lea needs a bestie who's he can watch feminist chick flicks with and tell embarrassing stories to.
