Let’s linger in Australia for a moment for PLGRMS’ new stunner, a slinky swaggering, sooty seductive jam named Crawling Back which is out now on London-based label 0E0E Records. The pair has always left us swooning with their brand of sultry enthralling alt pop and glitchy spry electropop. Crawling Back is no different. There simply is no rational reason to walk away from PLGRMS, but if we did in a fit of insanity, we’ll be “crawling back” to the tune of this glistening, thrumming dazzler, too. "'Crawling Back' was one of the first songs we conceived as PLGRMS” the band explaina. “Lyrically, the song is based around seeing friends go through situations where their relationship had gone bad — and they just stuck around because it was all they knew. So I guess the inspiration was more observational than a personal experience.” Crawling Back is available for purchase, here.
E: We were happy once.... weren’t we?
Australian duo PLGRMS make a finely executed return on their slinky clattering new single Dream You Up. They draw us into a Glass Animals meets RKCB like electronic and alt pop world douses with velveteen synths and tumultuous emotion. Jacob Pearson of PILGRMS explains of the song: “When there’s mystery behind something or someone, it’s so interesting and intriguing. By nature we just can’t help ourselves and want to find out what it is. It’s the anticipation and thrill of what we don’t understand.” We hold our breaths as we listen to Dream You Up, caught in its wired intensity and suspenseful soundscape. We feel alive.
wanna tattoo this on my forehead
Little Gemini With eyes you hide behind While a look-alike is worn Little Gemini Let me come alive I'm no look-alike, I'm yours Little Gemini Let me come alive Little Gemini, I'm yours, I'm yours
Not saying I’m psychic or anything, but I have this insane desire to listen to PLGRMS a day after they release a song, and I don’t even follow their activity.
