Theme madness

I'm beginning to think that the Cynosure theme I've been using since mid-September may have had a "push" upgrade that I didn't get because I've tweaked it (and automatic upgrades don't happen to sites that have had their HTML tweaked), so that may possibly be the reason that the front page of my Tumblr stopped loading correctly for people using IE and Chrome (and some sizes of Firefox).

So for the time being I'm going to fall back to the Pliancy theme I was using for a while -- at least until I hear back from the Ultralinx people as to (a) whether there's been an upgrade and (b) whether I can please DL a new clean copy of whatever the theme looks like now (as my old clean copy produces the same errors).

If things look a bit weird around here while I get the old theme settled back in, you'll know why.

I like your new background image!

Thank you! It’s the landscape-oriented version of the Terragen-generated background from the cover of the A Wizard of Mars NME. This is the scene where Nita and Aurilelde are having a wizards’ duel over the Oceanidum Mons region of Mars, and as part of this the weather has just been changed to dump a ton of water on the circular area below (you can see how the clouds define it).

I may change this image out in a bit, as I’m still playing with the colors on the theme and may like a different, bluer-&-more-watery version of the theme better. (that being this one, which I use as wallpaper on my big desktop machine:)

We’ll see.
