Endgame

Honestly, is there any other possible ending to PLL than A.D. being Spencer's twin? There we have the motive for wanting to find out who killed Charlotte, who is then A.D.'s sister. A.D. = Avery Drake? Wren then possibly comes back into the story as her helper. We all know he had a thing for Spencer, maybe he just went for the twin instead. Tyler Blackburn said it is someone we haven't seen but have seen. This can't be anything other than a twin of one of the known characters. The whole show is building up towards uncovering secrets about Spencer. I really do not see it going any other way. Spencer (or the twin) had something to do with 'that night'. There are still a lot of questions like what's the deal with Jenna and Noel but I strongly believe that this is gonna be the general plot.

I WAS RIGHT

I was goddamn right. SPENCER IS MARY'S DAUGHTER. Finally, some theorizing paid off. And what. an. episode. I loved it. I am really starting to feel like it IS gonna come full circle and the writers actually know what they're doing. So what did we learn this finale? - Spencer's Mary's kid *high fives self* - Noel and Jenna were working with Charlotte - None of them knew/know who A.D. is - Emison is real - so is Haleb, thank the lord - Jenna is actually very very blind and very very out for revenge - Noel's head is bouncy Questions after this episode? - is Spencer going to survive? - is A.D. Wren? (Yes) - does Mary have another child? - what's Paige's bloody problem? - what did the girls do to A.D.? - WTF happened to Toby and Yvonne? - what's gonna happen to ezria? What questions do you guys have? What do you think is going to happen? Let me know!

The Pretty Little Liars were not very good friends most of the time.

And Noel cared so much about Aria and the girls. He got tortured for her. Helped her through thick and thin. Maybe he wasn’t always the best boyfriend but he tried so damn hard. Perhaps he was so caring for others because his brother committed suicide when he was young and his father was transgender.

But I’m okay ya know. Not even a little bit upset. TV Noel is a dick. Nothing like book Noel.

The brunnette couple

So remember when the liars were in a doll shop, and there was this weird kid who said a couple with the same hair color as Spencer came in and blah blah. I think its WREN AND MELISSA, BUT what if its Noel and Jenna they were dating for a few episodes.

It's so frustrating to me that the writers said they "ran out of time" to tell Noel's story, and his connections to Alison yet they do have time for Sara Shower Harvey and her boring ass!! And they had time last season for all the irrelevant characters like Talia, Jonny, Sydney, Paige, Travis, Andrew, London Boy..... Like where was Noel???? Why couldn't his story have been solved rather than bringing in all these other lame ass people that we all hated.. It's just super frustrating I can't stand it!!!

Is Noel helping Ali?

This is a popular theory on Tumblr, so let's look at the evidence:

Noel has dated both Jenna and Mona. Like Shana he could be keeping his enemies close.

Noel helped Maya. He let her stay in his cabin. Mona said that 'Maya knew'. Maybe she knew Ali was alive.

Noel was suspicious of Ezra. Ali could have told him she knew Ezra.

He's in the finale together with the liars (and probably Ali)

Conclusion: Very plausible

Question: Who's the person at the end of episode 04x23?

Conclusion: Noel Kahn

Why?: At the end of the episode Unbridled the girls arrive at the address where Ali's staying. A person walks in and Spencer asks "What are you doing here?".

The liars look surprised and puzzled, but not afraid or shocked. They actually look a bit sceptical or annoyed.

From the reaction we can rule out:

The parents

Mrs. D.

Jason

Toby (Spencer's reaction)

Lucas (Hanna's reaction)

The police

Paige (Emily's reaction)

Shana (They would not been suprised)

That leaves: Ezra, Wren, Melissa, Cece, Noel, Mona or Jenna

I don't think it is Mona, Ezra or Cece because they are/have been all A suspects, so the liars would have reacted differently.

So the suspects are:

Wren

Melissa

Jenna

Noel

From the promo pictures it looks like the winner is Noel:
