“Your little songbird is enrapturing. They didn’t even see me while I was watching.” S said leaning against the wall. They run a hand through their hair. “And they’re supposed to be the smarter one?”
Lysander huffs which makes S chuckle. “Don’t talk about them like that.”
“They’re all brawn no brain. What are you? Neither I’d assume given that I’m here.”
He rolls his eyes. “Stay for tea since you’re here.” He said sarcastically.
S grins.
“Don’t mind if I do.”
The trio began to make their escape out of the house. Afte that Eloise teleported to hers and Salem’s place. She sighs and flops on the couch. Russell sits down as Hallam paces.
“I should probably talk to her... I’m worried now. Do you think she’s okay?” They asked worried.
Russell sighs. “I know she’s capable of taking care of herself.”
“Right...” Hallam said then sat and pulled up a screen.
Eloise shrugs on her leather jacket. Connor and Salem look at her curiously. “I’m going to see if I can find Rainer.”
“What?! Why? She hasn’t been back. We’re fine.” Salem said with a frown.
She sighs. “I have to. Or she will be back. And to make sure Garcia is okay, for Lillith.”
With that she walked out and towards the woods. Salem sighs.
“The things you do for love, huh?” Connor said.
The other nods. “I guess so... she must not be entirely over Garcia then.” They sigh.
“And what about you? Anyone you’d do anything for?”
Salem blushes and Connor chuckles. “Yeah... you could say that. Not that there’s much I could ever do for them. But I would try.”
He smiles. Salem sighs content. The two begin to play a game of checkers.
Jace was painting in his place. Music played in the background of as Oliver watched concerned from the kitchen.

Salem was walking when they seen Jordan. They were walking back and forth as they talked to themselves.
“Are you alright?” Salem asks, concerned.
Jordan jumps and then shrugs. “I don’t know...”
Salem nods and sits down against a tree. “I’ll listen if you want.”
They smile and Jordan stares at Salem and their gently features.
“Okay... well it started like this,”
As the sun passes over the two, Jordan explains their story to Salem. Who listened with care and an open mind.
This eventually led to Jordan sitting beside Salem, and Salem comforting them.
“I think that... you’ll do what’s right. Inside you don’t want to hurt people, so I think you’ll do what’s good.” They said softly.
Jordan nods. “Yeah... it’s just overwhelming.”
“For now we should just go get some food,” Salem’s stomach growls and the two giggle.
“Yeah.”
So the two go into town and enjoy themselves at a quiet cafe. All of which calmed Jordan down a lot and they happily enjoyed Salem’s company.
Eloise, you sure you’re good?
She gives a smile and shrug.
Eloise: yeah I’m fine. I’ve got a steady head on my shoulders, I’m not gonna dye my hair some absurd colour cause Garcia doesn’t like me.
“So the meeting will commence let me see who’s here. Quinn, Jackie, Dax, Nick, Natasha, Noir, myself...”
Sam appears in the middle of the living room.
“And Sam glad to have you. Always a pleasure except why the fuck would you leave in your condition?!” Jones voice went from calm and composed to outraged.
“Jones, I knew they needed help. I could tell when Tyler spoke with me I had to do something!”
Jones lets out an exasperated sigh. “You could of told us and we could have helped deal with it.”
“I don’t think it woul-“
“Oh so you just thought you’d go solo?! Sam that’s not how this works! You’re a part of a team again, learn to work with it.”
Jones is now up close to Sam, the two looking each other in the eye.
“Whatever, lets just continue with the meeting.”
Jones sighs sitting back down. “So we need to start the construction of the add on for the house. If I can get Dax and Jackie on the building part then the inside renovations will be easy.”
~ after the meeting ~
By the time the meeting was done it was just Jones and Sam in the living room.
“You could have died.”
“That’s What They say but here I am. I am s-“
“Don’t bother apologizing. You’re just going to do it again.”
The two are standing in front of the other. Out of the blue Sam kisses Jones, who eventually kisses back. Then they break for air.
“I’ll try to be more careful from now on.”
“You better be, dumbass.”
Sam laughs. “Will do smartass.”
“You look exhausted Madyln we need to get you rested.” Sam says softly as he pulls away from the hug.
She shakes her head. “No I need to go look for Pyrra. Knowing you’re safe is good, but I need to find Py.”
He grabs her shoulders and looks her in the eye. “You need to sleep. That’s the end of that.”
“Sam-“ He grabs her sword.
“Do me a favour and put those stars away.” She makes them disappear. Then he picks her up and maneuvers her over his shoulder.
“Sam! Put me down!”
“No can do. You need sleep so stop putting up a fight.” She eventually stops trying to escape his grip.
“Where are you taking me? Can you tell me that?” She sounds tired.
“I’m not entirely sure but I think we know them.”
“Oh that’s right your memory. Wren has your memory’s in a book you know. I don’t think it’s left their side since it was given to them.”
“That’s sweet of them.” He says softly.
They continue to walk in silence. Madyln eventually stops moving now asleep. He manages to hold her bridal style to make her more comfortable.
“I wish I remembered you. That’s okay I guess that I don’t since I won’t be around for much longer. Still would be nice.” He continues walking in silence.
