Thousand Sunny is 183ft, and the Wani is 164ft. For perspective, the newer Empire Class Fire Nation ships are twice the height, length, and width of the Wani, which is an older model vessel.

@drakyns I need you to know that this exists, and I'm a little bit obsessed with it ngl.
Titles Suck
The party was grand. What else could he say? It was just as decorated and full as last year’s, but the “13” was replaced with a “14.”
(To Mod) Does Shadow have those reptilian and/or cat-like slit pupils??? First the tongue and then the eyes?? sQUID WHAT ARE YOU DOING, DID YOU MAKE HIM PART REPTILE????
((Yes, his pupils are slitted like that, they always have been. :) As for the second question, yes and no. I won’t expand on that, but do know that his design is what it is for a reason, and he’s got a lot of backstory and reasoning piled onto him. I’ll just leave you with that~ ;)
So yes to the first question, yes and no to the second. ))
Travel time from The Fire Nation to the Southern Water Tribe
If you traveled from Hawaii (tropical island, similar to Fire Nation climate) to Antarctica, that's around 7,000–8,000 miles.
By ship (normal Fire Navy speed), it would likely take weeks to over a month to sail there.
With Appa (who can fly very fast), it takes a few days to a couple of weeks depending on stops.
I based this on tfn being above the equator on the atla map.
Judging by how long it takes the airships to travel across the Earth Kingdom during the finale Sozin's Comet, they move maybe at the speed of an old-timey propeller plane — about 100–150 mph
Still slower than Appa
So we estimate:
Distance: ~7,000 miles
Speed: ~100 mph
7,000 miles ÷ 100 mph = about 70 hours of nonstop flight — or roughly 3 days if they traveled without stopping.
But they probably have to stop at least once or twice, you would think. So more likely 4–6 days by Fire Nation airship under good conditions.
