(For the Interview with a ghost, um. Like, the Vlad plot had no conclusion, did the detectives ever look into him also bring a halfa? Since the Fenton's know, would Danny feel inclined to tell them about Vlad? Would that data on Danny's file be able to be accessed by the GiW? We don't even know if Danny's parents want to change how they're going about things. Why are people visiting Danny's grave- who's it engraved to? Will Vlad take measures to remove the data on halfas from the police? Idk.)

Yep.  Those would be the unanswered questions.  If I were to continue this series, I would focus on those, and what Vlad was doing with Danny’s body.  :)

But, like I said, it’ll probably be a long time before I pick this up again.  If ever.  (Ectober, perhaps?)

But in general, be assured that, at least, Danny’s relationship with his family is good, and the police are taking measures to make sure he isn’t exposed.  Especially to the GIW.

Welcome All to Curtain Call

The bones of the earth will utter such sweet melodies this night, joined in the indelible chorus by voices wrenched from unwitting throats, a serenade of the strange and mystical whose siren call cannot be ignored. Unimaginable and fanciful, melancholic and melodramatic, the simpering and smiles will become but paper masks washed away in a tide most musical.

Sorcery works upon the land in ways most unpleasant, but in this, perhaps, some reverie may be found. Take pleasure from gilt-laid harmonies bathed in the sweetest songs, find bliss in lively steps danced amongst comrades and strangers, for your time is short and if wary heroes find no cure for my happy deeds, these songs will seduce forth the very specter of death.

Good evening, my dear ones, and welcome to the beginning of Curtain Call, an open event for roleplayers. Here’s what you need to know.

What is the event? Curtain Call is a powerful and broadly-reaching curse enacted upon the unwitting heroes, adventurers and denizens of Eorzea and the broader world by an unidentified sorcerer. This curse is a musical one - for the duration of the curse, those afflicted by it may at random burst into song and dance as if the world itself had become a musical or a stage play.

Does this seem at all strange to those afflicted? Yes, absolutely strange and 100% wrong, but it feels completely natural while singing! The rules are quite simple. For the duration of the curse, those characters who are afflicted by this curse may at random break into totally-normal song and dance numbers about anything, really. Chatting up a stranger, doing the dishes, sitting through a work meeting, mugging a drunkard, anything is open to being the subject of a singalong.

Who can participate? Anyone! An announcement will be made when the curse has been broken, and those afflicted are completely free to investigate the strange occurrence.

How is this curse broken? That, dear ones, is a secret until the second day.

This event is open for anyone on any server to enjoy or use as a plot-hook for their own devices or to get into some RP with some fun folks. Write a musical prompt, chat up a stranger in Ul’dah and break out into song, find yourself dancing across the smithy to the music of the bellows! This is an opportunity to get into a creative mode you may not have otherwise had an avenue for.

Updates will be posted or reblogged as the mystery is solved.

Story arcs I'd like to see for New X-Men

Here are just some plot points I’ve wanted to possibly see/thought about if the NEW X-MEN ACADEMY X kids are ever brought back. These are just some ideas:

-The New X-Men to finally graduate/not be affiliated with the school.

- Julian shown as more mature and FINALLY growing out of his ‘Jerk with a Heart of Gold’ character arc. Also writers handling him being a double amputee or utilizing his prosthetics more.

- Josh bringing someone back from the dead and realizing it was a HUGE mistake ala Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein.

-Surge and Prodigy reunion where they’re forced to resolve their damaged relationship.

-Roxy, Mercury, and Hellion being roommates in an apartment in Brooklyn. (You just KNOW Julian’s thrilled Cessily is happy and in a relationship, especially after the Kevin mess…) Exploration into Bling! and Mercury’s relationship.

- Dust struggling with immigration and her status as a refugee (with commentary on the Muslim ban). Also the plot thread of Sooraya’s mother being touched on.

-Many Academy X-Kids feeling like they no longer belong with the X-Men but can’t be accepted by society either. (With commentary on many young adults struggling with the job market, housing, student loans, ect…)

-Handling of their PTSD and trauma.

-Prodigy at college and struggling because he feels like he’s moved past being an X-Men.

-Bringing back Sean Garrison as a Villain.

- Wind Dancer getting her powers back, but being so far behind her past comrades skill wise, and struggling to accept Surge as the leader after previously having that role.

- Surge being upset over Wind Dancer not attending Laurie’s funeral.

- Awkwardness between Julian and Sofia OR Julian and Laura.

-New Mutants 2.0 reunion with the living members and Dani.

- Julian’s strained relationship with Emma touched on.

- Addressing Laura leaving Josh to die during the battle with Siphon, and many of the New X-Men questioning having Laura on the team (with Julian supporting her being there, because despite their messy history Julian will always be her friend).

- Examination into Laura and Nori’s kinda/sorta bad blood between each other (I'll delve more into this in my Surge Part Three write up...)

- Bromo Superior 2.0

-Anole and Pixie silliness!

-Pixie coping after losing her soul/allegory’s to Darkchilde or fear that she might develop her own darker persona.

-Examination into the characters lives before they joined Xavier’s school for gifted youngsters/discovered they were mutants.

- Examination into power sets; with new and creative ways to utilize them.

- Future adult Julian joining the Hellfire club as a liaison (similar to Magneto and Storm in the 80’s) and becoming the new White King.

-Hellion meeting Empath and catching on like house and fire. (Julian’s morality would definitely clash with Manuel’s, plus the issue of them both being previously Emma’s favorite students…)

-Selene as a Villain (She did manipulate an ex-teammate).

- Laura and Miss Sinister going head to head again since Liu’s solo.

-Anole being in a relationship (my choice would be Striker/Brandon Sharpe!)

What plot points are you dying to see if the New X-Men are ever given a new series or put in one of the main books?

I’d like to do a different kind of love story thread: Muse A and Muse B have a child (or children) together. After years of trying to make it work, the two fall out of love. Through the divorce, they relive how they fell in love. 

Possible outcomes: 

They continue with the divorce only to have the flame reignited a few months/years later. 

The flame is reignited during the divorce, only to have Muse B confess that they are having an affair with Muse C

Literally anything else you want to do.
