Well Worn Crop Sweater in plotulopi modified into a cardigan! Definitely not the right yarn for this project, but it was fun to use such a different fiber. Got these reclaimed buttons from a local yarn store and just happened to have a perfectly matching yarn which I used to make a little pocket!

After hearing so much about it, I’ve decided to give Plötulopi a go! I didn’t realize it was essentially roving. I had a lot of frustration at first, with the yarn snapping and being afraid to use any tension. I’ve finally got it down though, and I must admit that I like the feel and airiness of the fabric. Not sure how it’ll wear in the long run.

My newest and freshest project, 3 pairs of MITTENS for 3 sisters 😻. And one more pair more, and one pair of socks. ❤️ Flew away in Montreal. I was really happy to knit these mittens! This is so cute, when family is REAL family!!! ❤️ I used all three my favourite types of Icelandic yarn: plötulopi, Álafosslopi (for black pair) and létt lopi. The reason for this mix traditional: I need MORE colours, than one type of yarn has! 😹😹😹 Pattern and design by Me, of course! 😜Put your attention, also, on black pair. The general idea was the Northern Light. It is endless sours of my inspiration!!! ❤️ Well, my MITTENS flew away in Montreal, and my beautiful customer sent me message with especial THANKS from her sisters! In the moments like this, I understand, my life is BEAUTIFUL!!! I love my customers, and I love what I do!!!
