Using up the last of my plötulopi on some socks. Thought I’d work on them while giving my cat some yard time. Except I forgot she has a strict ‘no hobbies other than me’ rule.

Well Worn Crop Sweater in plotulopi modified into a cardigan! Definitely not the right yarn for this project, but it was fun to use such a different fiber. Got these reclaimed buttons from a local yarn store and just happened to have a perfectly matching yarn which I used to make a little pocket!
Tried to use up the last of my plotülopi on these welsh country socks, but that yarn is a real bang for your buck. I’ve still got 75 grams of each at least
After hearing so much about it, I’ve decided to give Plötulopi a go! I didn’t realize it was essentially roving. I had a lot of frustration at first, with the yarn snapping and being afraid to use any tension. I’ve finally got it down though, and I must admit that I like the feel and airiness of the fabric. Not sure how it’ll wear in the long run.
