System Mapping: The Zine
We reworked our system mapping post into a zine!
hello!!!
i have two questions!!! :D
i saw in yall's shop there was a keychain for something called soulbonding! i wanna hear it from someone plural who doesn't care about syscourse and you all seem perfect for that i think
i saw in one of yall's post that there were fronting guides written by tulpagenic systems? do you guys have any linkies. pretty please. with a cherry on top. (we can't tell how we were formed- its extremely complicated, and we'd love to see how other systems do it <3)
thank you all so much in advance!!!!

Hello anon, thank you so much for the ask!!
For soulbonding, we can direct you to this post which has The Soulbonding Carrd with soo much information. The definition there is written as "Soulbonding is when a person, often after forming a strong connection to a fictional character or world, can communicate with characters in their mind. They can originate from various sources such as books, movies, original characters, roleplaying, daydreaming, personal stories, and more. Soulbonding can be experienced in many different ways and people have varying beliefs about the origins of these connections." Soulbonding started off as a purely psychological concept but there are a lot of people who experience it in a metaphysical way as well. It comes directly from the experience of writers experiencing their characters talking to them and dictating their own stories, and has expanded to not only include writers, and it can be intentional or unintentional! We have a good many soulbonds! Might hold an AMA later that could be fun
highly recommend checking out the studies here, they're very fascinating!

"Majority of authors 'hear' their characters speak, finds study - Research on writers appearing at the Edinburgh international book festival reveals 63% listen to their creations, and 61% feel they have their own agency" by Allison Flood on archive.org
For tulpa guides, we highly recommend the possession and switching segments of the tulpamonicon - in tulpa circles, they're slightly different things. There're five guides for possession and six for full switching in there. We're of the belief that switching guides are very useful regardless of system origin, as they helped us a lot with our non-tulpa members as well and we discovered ourselves to be a system with a dissociative disorder. Having more control over who wants to be in front is so freeing. The practice is so worth it!
Hope this helps out some, anon! 💠
