we have median systems but what about mode, mean, and range systems. No equivalent data representation at all

I love you fictives that don't want to source separate I love you fictives that have exotrauma I love you fictives whose source memories are real to you I love you fictives with past lives as your sourceself I love you canon-divergent or AU fictives who are attached to their personal canon i love you fictives who don't want to change your identity in order to move forward. You're not inherently delusional, you're not self harming, being a member of a system doesn't mean you're not allowed to have a healthy fiction-based identity like others do. You don't have to conform to society's idea of "normality" in order to heal, or be yourself, or live a full life.
loving possession tropes in fiction is infuriating as a system because you just keep hoping people won't casually disrespect irl plurals when talking about it and then you get hit with the "an internally created force possessing the body is basically only reserved for evil alter egos" or "having something else in your body is inherently traumatic and scary" or "the [non-host] is evil just for using the body at all" or something like that. Like I WANT to enjoy fantasy possession and/or plurality, all the weird magic stuff included, but fandom makes it REALLY HARD, even when the source material is well written and makes sense in-universe! good grief
For disabilities that cause some kind of obstacle to Doing Things (exec dysfunction, memory issues, etc) when you're otherwise (visibly, supposedly) physically able to, something I don't see talked about much is the effect of humiliation and fear on that process. If you weren't able to do something that involves other people- like going into an appointment, cleaning something, doing a task or favor, really anything- then the longer it's left un-done, the more fearful you get of feeling the humiliation of others' reactions when you finally complete it. Shame that it took so long, or someone's annoyance at it, or someone looking down on you, or guilt that you couldn't do it for them until now- it builds up worse and worse over time, and the fear of humiliation once it's acknowledged by other people makes it exponentially harder over time to actually complete the task at all.
Not really sure how to solve this but I think it's worth mentioning. Sometimes trying to explain yourself under the scrutiny of abled people really leaves a mark.
Passive Memory Absorption
[Passive Memory Absorption]
"Absorption"/"Absorbing" or PMA for short
A term to describe an experience for for plurals, multiples, and anybody with any sort of identity separation.
Absorption is the passive, subconscious act of one or more system/plural member(s) taking in memories from another member(s) without fully reacting to it themselves in the way one would if they'd learned it all at once; absorbing information, knowledge, experiences, wisdom, etc from another member in a passive manner that ends with them knowing it, yet never having an initial reaction to it; can feel retroactively like one has known the memory all along.
Example: Member A has been out of front for a month. During that month, Member B has gotten a new hobby and enjoyed it thoroughly. When A returns, they have passively absorbed the memories of Member B's hobby, and instead of an initial reaction, A finds that they already know how the hobby works and knows the things B has been doing with it, and feels like they have known it for longer than when they were just told.
you armchair diagnose fictional characters to dismiss their feelings and write them off as flat archetypes. I armchair diagnose fictional characters to enrich their character by studying the complex reasons behind their actions and to understand them on a deeper level. we are not the same
"are there seriously no more buildings/etc to unlock in tomodachi life??" babe that was the Tutorial. once its all unlocked you can finally Do Shit. this isnt a game about unlocking crap this is Mii Husbandry Simulator
