I am about to embark on what I'm priming to be my BIGGEST fic one shot ever...I'm thinking easily 12,000 words, maybe more. And what is it...I'm shoving a female reader and Bucky into a romcom lol. I've always loved the modern, college roommates and old friends AU so I'm doing that. It'll feature weddings, weekend trips and a whole lot of pining on both ends.

You and Bucky Barnes have known each other for years, he's Steve's best friend and your Nat's college roommate and it just so happened they dated and fell in love. That left the two of you, to wander through life as best friends, shoulders to cry on and late night laughs but nothing more. But after your loser boyfriend breaks up with you only a week before your bosses wedding, you rope Bucky into joining. And then he does it to you and you find yourself forced to play the part of perky Plus Ones, dates in only name to all the biggest events of the summer. But as you spend the months and one whirlwind weekend in Vegas, surrounded by love and free flowing booze, things change, feelings deepen and unrequited love may not stay so deep down. It'll bubble and brew until the only thing left to do is to lay it all out in front of you and hope... it's not horribly one sided.
