Plushiepants Alpacasso Meme
So I thought I would do this tag ~inspired after watching Mallorys video~ even though my collection is really pretty small and then when my collection is bigger I can compare maybe? ^_^
When you started collecting Alpacasso: July 2015
Your first Alpacasso: 16cm white sherbet (from Rosy’s Garden)
How big is your collection now?: My collection is small at the moment. In total (including the ones that haven’t yet been shipped etc) I have 6
Your favourite alpaca/series, design-wise: I adore the 2012 Christmas series , they are my favourite. I love a lot of the plain-ish series too that have minimal accessories.
An Alpacasso that has sentimental value to you: My first one is kind of sentimental I guess because it was my first authentic one but also my first larger one (white girly kids 36cm green bow) & my pink 16cm goodnight both of which my boyfriend surprised me with that he got from a convention at a Tofu Cute stall.
Do you name your alpacas? If yes, do you have any sort of name theme?: Some of them , if I can think of a name for them then I will. It’s usually the larger ones that I can think of names for. (no theme)
Any other things you collect?: Dresses I guess! I love love dresses especially authentic vintage ones and modern vintage ones too. I also collect cameras as a photographer so obviously I have a big interest in them aha.
What alpaca is topping your wishlist right now?: I really really want the white 40cm girl with the red earmuffs & scarf/cape from the earmuff series. (Not sure if that's the actual series name).
Why you enjoy collecting: I guess I just love how cute they are and they make me happy (is that weird?) erm I don’t know why else really. That’s a good enough reason to collect though right? haha.
Thoughts on Bootlegs?: My first alpaca plush was a bootleg that my boyfriend bought me for my 18th birthday and I LOVED it , I still do , I had no idea that there was fakes or authentics I just thought they were all the same I guess until I started researching a little into them and started collecting and I think that's the same with a lot of collectors. I don’t think it’s bad if anyone gets one without realising its not authentic? but if you know its a fake and they are basically alpacasso rip offs then that's less ok...
Any color Alpacasso you tend to prefer: absolutely definitely white! out of the 6 I own , 4 are white. I only like the pinks really in the smaller sizes and that goes for most of the other colour ones. However I do like some of the Macaron colours. But I definitely prefer the white Alpacassos.
