not sure why the fandom wiki has Layla listed as Staff in the duat/headspace psychiatric hospital. that was my first thought but she's pretty clearly a fellow patient. She has the same clothes as Marc, her hair is messy, and she's not talking like someone with authority, just someone with a little more freedom in the space at the moment. her sleeves are too long to be working, she's got a little bandage with a scarab drawn on it, and she doesn't have an id badge.

also marc makes a point NOT to see her as a nurse so it doesn't make sense he would place her there as one even accidentally. he took steps to make sure he wouldn't do that to her!
