So I've been streaming Princess Maker 2 - a child raising sim I played as a kid with a lot of WILDLY fucked up content for @thenugking recently and we wound up doing a run playing as Sarevok raising Helena. It got uhhh it got pretty grim.

Nothing toooo horrifying happened in the early game, upon which These doodles are based but maybe I'll draw stuff based on the later parts of our playthrough too, if I get to it. I would like to draw more Bhaalist Maker things!

Princess-to-be-Ignis' story is complete! Let's look at those stats.

Ignis didn't end up as well rounded as I liked. He was super popular in the castle, a Queen in Homemaking, won contests in both Art & Dance yet his intelligence could not be surpassed.

The first fortune we were given said Ignis was fated to be a Novelist!

He WOULD be a hell of a writer but Ignis still had a couple more years left. I made sure to max his stamina and strength but couldn't get to the combat stats. Stupid finance constraints.

As his later birthday nears Ignis gets a new fortune.

...WELL. Not what I thought would happen but maybe some last minute jobs at the restaurant will help?

Playing through the pmd postgame and i love how it flips the self sacrifical nature of the first adventure. Hey you should fight for a better world at the cost of everything, evrn your own existence. But your life is valuable and dont throw it away without reason, and beware the darkness trying to trick you into thinking the latter is the former. This game is so brrrr
