2. favorite one of the game youve played?

I really enjoy Gates to Infinity even if I actually haven’t finished playing the game yet whoops!! I love the story and all the characters, and while the AI can be a bit weird, the gameplay is still pretty fun for me.

7. how do you interpret the future trios relationships to each other?

Oh hmm, this is actually a bit tricky.

In Galaxies Above, I displayed that Grovyle (Alex) and Celebi (Ceebee) never have and never really will like Dusknoir much, and Dusknoir starts out hating them too but as he grows to become better he starts seeing them more in a neutral to positive way. Meanwhile, Celebi has a small crush on Grovyle, but he sees them as just friends.

But the story of GA is different than in the canon games, so I would interpret the canon future trio a bit differently.

It seems fairly clear in the games that Celebi does have a crush on Grovyle, though personally while the ship can be cute, I am torn on whether or not I ship them; frankly I don’t think I really ship any of the future trio, but the art and stuff I do see for it is really cute. They’re definitely chaotic ride or die friends though. I figure that in the post-game, Dusknoir takes on a bit of a fatherly role to the other two, while at the same time being kind of a rival to Grovyle. The trio bickers a lot, but it’s all friendly, usually, at least. I figure that they sometimes get into their fair share of arguments, especially considering their history, but they work it out together. They could probably get into some good debates.

2. Do you prefer the 2D or 3D games (in terms of style or the games in general)?

5. Which Pokemon from Gen 7-8 would you consider potential hero/partner options, outside of the regular Starter Pokemon?

2. If it's style, I'm definitely a bigger fan of the pixels in the 2D games, I'm such a sucker for pixel art ;w; I think 3D had a lot of potential but the execution was not quite what I expected...? (dunno if that's an unpopular opinion but ehhh)

5. No particular thoughts on hero or partner, but these (in random order) would be really cool to see!! Mimikyu, type:null, nickit, oricorio (why don't we have more playable bird pokemon)?!

11. ohhh I can't think of any now but I always crave for a bit of slice of life after well, saving the world~

I usually just name the hero after me and the partner after one of my friends. I very rarely choose anything else.

Encounter, Human, Team, Treasure Box, Guild member, Outlaw, and Juke Box for the PMD asks!! :D

Encounter: From what i can remember, I believe my first partner was Turtwig. It’s been a while so thats as far back as i can remember;;;Human: Explorers of Time! Team: Oh man Team Charm def, I just love those funky gals plus their theme is a bangerTreasure Box: Aw jeez I can’t really decide. It’s probably a tie between EoS and GTI. EoS has a great story and GTI has many great characters, so its hard to pick one.Guild Member: Tie between Bidoof and Sunflora. They’re both good I love them.Outlaw: Dusknoir, I guess lol. Don’t really like him per say but he was the most memorable villain.Juke Box: Gosh I have a lot, some of my faves are Across the Sea of Time, Dialga’s Fight to the Finish, and Holehills.

Best plot twist in each PMD game?

By the way, I did get this ask! Sorry about the huge delay answering, eheh.

Anyway, for Explorers and Super, it’s their Big Plot Twists. Explorers has the benefit of tight plot focus, good characters and a lot of emotional appeals helping to make the twist so strong, while Super’s twist, while stuck in the middle of a weirdly-paced plot, is clever and executed well enough and with enough spectacle to make it a highlight.

As for Rescue Team, this isn’t really a plot twist per-say, but I like the very, very end, where Gengar is (sort of) freed of the curse, Gardevoir is saved, and most everything is wrapped up. It’s a grey ending with Gardevoir losing her memories of what happened and Gengar still having to live with the guilt of what happened despite having kind of redeemed himself. It’s less cut-and-dry than the rest of the game is, and I think it stands out for that reason.

For Gates, on the other hand, it’s a bit easy to go with, but I’d have to say the twist with Hydreigon. You know the one. The big one. While I might think that Gates’ plot is much less focused than Explorers’, and I think it hits you over the head too hard and too much with its brand of darkness, the sheer weight of the scene is enough to make it stand out from basically anything else. I still think it’s even darker than anything Super throws at you for that reason, really. Super still goes about things with euphemisms and metaphoricals, while Gates actually has it happen outright onscreen, at least until a later reveal.
