A generation is considered to be about 20-30 years. Therefore, Grovyle and hero’s timeline is likely 100-300 years in the future.

I really like how they show the human turned Pokémon in the pmd2 manga. I just wish they drew them a little more “post apocalyptic.”

In the PMD2 manga, Grovyle says, “see you on the other side” when he pushes Dusknoir into the dimensional hole. Do think this line was directed towards Dusknoir, or Hero?
It could apply to both, but if this line was specifically meant for Hero, then this is unbelivably heartbreaking. Given the context, he’s probably talking about seeing them in the afterlife since this is their final goodbye.
Even after disappearing from this world, the one hope that you’ll see your partner again in the afterlife is so incredibly sweet and soul crushing at the same time.
