Summary: After The Raft, Sam learns to celebrate the little victories in letting their guard drop and sleeping through the night. It counts as another, to find compromise, to return home and become a hero once again. It’s something more to do so as Captain America, to take command of the team at a time when the stakes have never felt higher.
It’s worth it all, when the suit comes off and the shield is set down, to realize that for the first time in years, they’re at peace once more.
