Here’s to the mixed kids

we love you

the mix kids who get bullied

the mixed kids who get told they aren’t enough of one race to be called so

the mixed kids who have been asked ‘what are you?’

the mixed kids who want to change themselves to be someone they’re not

the mixed kids who straighten their hair because someone told them their natural hair isn’t beautiful

the mixed kids who doesn’t know who or what they are

the mixed kids who feels left out because they’re mixed

the mixed kids who hates them self because of who they are

then mixed kids who feel lost and may never be found

the mixed kids who have a mental ilness

the mixed kids who are lgbtq+

the mixed kids who are disabled

the mixed kids who are religiouse

the mixed kids who aren’t religiouse

the mixed kids who are reinventing themselves

the mixed kids who doesn’t know where the’re going but they know it will be wonderful when they get their.

the mixed kids who have been found

the mixed kids who love themselves for who they are 

the mixed kids who are learning to love themselves

this is for you. so you know we’re rooting for you. there are more of you out their. we are all standing behind you and we want you to succeed. we love you because we’re just like you. WE LOVE AND SUPPORT YOU. YOU ARE VALID.
