12. A song from your pre-teen years:--Who Let The Dogs Out (I don’t know why this was the only one to come to mind)
14. A song you would love played at your wedding:--Canon in D? NO. Probably Elsa’s Procession to the Cathedral by Wagner. But at some point (maybe for our dance...assuming this is about a specific someone), I’d love to slow dance to Swing Life Away by Rise Against. For many reasons...it was the first band we bonded over, the song is really sweet, and whenever I hear the song, I think of us.

30. A song that reminds you of yourself:--To be honest, I believe we listen to music because it’s therapeutic in the way that it subconsciously reminds us of certain aspects of our life.In short, I see myself in most songs I listen to.To name just one, I’ll say I Will Possess Your Heart by Death Cab for Cutie.
Question Game
Question Game
I was tagged by pocopiumosso Rule #1 always post the rules. Rule #2 answer the questions the person who asked, then write 11 new ones. Rule #3 tag 11 people then link them in the post. Rule #4 tell them you tagged them. Rule #5 tell the person that tagged you that you’ve answered the questions.
1) Favorite album?
as I don't have just one, brace yourself for this rad list (in no particular order):
This is War - 30 Seconds to Mars
Kid A - Radiohead
A Rush of Blood to the Head - Coldplay
The Bends - Radiohead
Dreaming Out Loud - OneRepublic
How to Save a Life - The Fray
Wish You Were Here - Pink Floyd
Big Whiskey and the Groogrux King - Dave Matthews Band
Of the Blue Colour of the Sky - OK Go
and I have 3 of these on vinyl too haha my goal is to own all of these & also all of Radiohead's albums on vinyl
2) Favorite book?
either Pendragon (the entire ten-book series that I own because I'm nuts) or The Perks of Being a Wallflower. For christmas I did a cute thing and gave my best friend copies of the both of these as like a sentiment
3) Are you a dog or a cat person?
that's really hard. if I wasn't allergic to both I'd say cat probably because I'm too lazy for dogs. I have a rabbit tho
4) What is your favorite pastime?
writing, playing piano/guitar/singing/saxophone, making mix tapes, watching Scandal, sitting at island heights or centennial park preferably with a guitar in my hands and with Kim/Gabe/Stefano idk man
5) Where do you currently call home?
pelican island I guess
6) If you could live anywhere, where would you choose and why?
Munich, Boston, or somewhere in California.
Munich and Heidelberg were my two favorite cities when I went to Europe last year. They're huge and cultured and clean and I felt really safe there. And when I was in Munich I went to this punk concert in a beat up graffitied shack next to a daycare centre and it was the most hardcore I'd ever felt in my young life tbh
Boston is where I want to go to college, even though it seems like that isn't going to happen for undergrad because it's so fuCKING EXPENSIVE. Boston University is my place. I love the location, I love the culture, I love how it's right on the water, I love how it feels like Europe. And I need to be near some type of body of water. Playing the guitar on a pier is my shit. It's one of my favorite things in the world and was how I spent most of my summer last year.
California I have yet to get to, and I may go there over spring break this year although I'm not sure if that's happening yet. But like the sunset over the ocean every day? That makes for some seriously rad shitty sky pictures if you asked me and I'm the shitty sky pic connoisseur idk
7) What are five things that make you smile?
performing, like sitting-behind-a-piano-fucking-with-a-microphone performing, preferably with my sidekick and my piano teacher because we make a pretty decent cover band
my alto sax section in band this year. I love them so much and the section seriously has never been this close in all my years in band
being inspired by something at some ungodly hour of the night and writing really great things as a result
radiohead
concerts (I'm going to one on Friday and I haven't been to one since October I'm so fucking excited)
8) Do you have or have you had a recurring nightmare? What is/was it?
Over the past couple of months I've been having this one where my best friend dies, but it's in a different scenario every time. I guess it's because of shit that's been going on at home for me, but I haven't dreamt it in a couple of weeks so we a - ok.
9) If you could change anything about your past, would you and why/why not?
I really, genuinely try to live without regrets, as everyone should. Everything happens for a reason, at least in my opinion. We make mistakes, but they happen for a reason. So, no, I wouldn't change anything.
10) Which is better, lust or love?
Love when lust comes with it. Like, okay, if you're fucking someone and they aren't your best friend and you aren't laughing and enjoying each other's company then you're doing something wrong imo. You don't have to be in a relationship or be committed to each other but it takes a lot out of someone to be able to open up like that yaknow
11) What are your aspirations for the future?
I want to go to either Penn State or Boston University for undergrad, and it's looking like Penn State as of right now. I want to study English and creative writing and screenwriting and any composition related course I can ever think of taking. And I want to minor in music, because music is what keeps me going and I need it to continue to influence me the way it does now while I'm in college.
After that, I want to go to law school preferably in Boston, become financially independent, travel a LOT, build my dream house, put a huge chandelier in my foyer, leave a room next to my foyer completely empty so my friends and I can just cover the walls in murals, have a really cool basement with a huge record collection and a rig and posters and guitars and keyboards everywhere, install a recording studio in said basement, drop a couple albums, publish some of my books, marry a musician who is as financially stable as I am so we can survive independently if anything happens to us, have a couple kids, adopt one from somewhere in Asia, yeah that sounds good
My Questions (sorry):
1. Favorite album(s)?
2. Who's your celebrity crush and why? (attach a picture haha)
3. How did you spend last summer?
4. What do you want to do/are you currently doing in college/after high school?
5. What's your favorite season/type of weather?
6. What turns you on?
7. At what age did you lose your virginity and when was the last time you had sex? (sorry)
8. If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go and why? (Multiple places are a-okay)
9. What's your passion?
10. What's your favorite song and why? (And you aren't allowed to say you don't have a favorite song. If you had to pick a favorite, if it were life or death, what would it be and why?)
11. Have you accepted Radiohead as your lord and savior?
I'm tagging: ayysexual, geoffrey-saint-john, all-apologies28, americanaa-exoticaa, salty-b00bs, topcrotch, freakingsarah, plxntpng, blessthemegham, theotherurlsitriedaretaken, and taylorswift bc i ran out of people ok have fun
This deserved it's own post. Presh.
I got tagged in a thing
1) what would you tell your younger self?
stop being so afraid to try new things.
2) Your future self?
things are going to get hard. push through it. make yourself proud.
3) How long can you keep going before you explode?
summer's coming. I'll be fine.
4) Where do you want to be more than anything in the world?
I could name a few. an event that I'm most looking forward to is the Color Run. I'm dying to be in college (hopefully at Lehigh). but somewhere realistic for the current time is at Kevin's house.
5) Biggest dream/goal you have that scares you the most?
I can't wait to be in college and studying engineering and getting lab experience, but I'm scared that I'll never be able to do anything but regurgitate information.
6) What animal would you want to be and why
I think I'd like to be a bird so I could travel everywhere and see so many beautiful things.
7) Favorite thing you own
I don't know if I have one favorite thing, but I love my books, my iPod with all my music, and all the cards I've saved from friends over the years.
8) Regrets?
I like to think I don't regret things. I embrace my mistakes and learn for the future. (but mostly I regret procrastinating so much)
9) Do you prefer to leave loose ends with people undone or tie them up?
I'm fine with loose ends, as long as they're not too loose.
10) Favorite book/poem
this is a really hard question because there are just so many books and poems that are so beautiful. I do really love both The Fault in Our Stars and Looking for Alaska, not only for their plots and characters, but John Green's beautiful words.
11) Favorite quote
I'm gonna go with "I don't know any perfect people - only really really flawed people who are still worth loving." - John Green
but I also like lots of words
NEW QUESTIONS:
1) What do you like most about yourself?
2) Who's your biggest role model?
3) What's your favorite interest/hobby?
