New MiP Episodes in April + Transcriptions of Episodes!
Hey folks! Just an FYI that there’ll be new episodes of the podcast starting in April. As mentioned earlier this year scheduling hiccups and sickness (the flu had me out for 2 weeks) has made it hard to maintain the bimonthly schedule so far. BUT, we’re back on track with two more interviews this month and I’ll be taking time to edit them rather than rush to have two episodes in March. So look forward to episodes with Fin Leary and Rahul Mehta for April and more to come in May and beyond with agents, illustrators, and publishers as promised.
And since August will be our 3rd year I’m trying to think of a good way to celebrate. May do that feature with returning guests to see how they see the industry progressing and how they’re doing. Already had requests for that so looking forward to scheduling that this summer.
Additionally, it’s been too long that I have not had transcriptions of full episodes of the podcast and I apologize for that. This podcast is about accessibility and we need to be accessible. That said, I’m in the process of hiring someone to do transcriptions of episodes in batches and I’m prioritizing the most popular along with those that feature disabled guests and we’ll go down the line from there until all episodes are transcribed along with new ones. Thank you for your patience on that. Since this is a one-woman enterprise and I got some extra funds I wanted to make sure and use it for this specifically.
As always a big thanks to all listeners (new and old) and those who have recommended the podcast. I enjoy doing it and hope to do it until, I dunno, until we see some major change in this world. Small goals right?
Until April I’ll be posting Throwbacks on Thursdays. Happy spring everyone!
