Exactly one week ago I got introduced to the idea of Podfics.

One week later because of the tremendous help from fellow Tumbler and Facebook friends I have a collection of 100!! Podfics on my phone.

And because I use them several times per day my anxiety level dropped which means I haven't had the " extra" afternoon medication ever since.

Sherlock and Fanfiction saves lives Ladies and Gentlemen.

Thanks to the as ever amazing and kind Steph @inevitably-johnlocked I've found loads of new Podfics and feeling so immensely happy I could scream Sherlock into the universe.

I will share this link because I finally found Podfics from the wonderful stories of @totallysilvergirl and because I'm already convinced that @podfixx is by far one of the best readers this fandom could have hoped for.

Among other readers full of greatness like @bagofthumbs @johnlocky and @ohlooktheresabee to whom I could listen until eternity.

I'm not sure the writers, bloggers and podfic creators know how much I love their work and effort because their work became more important to me than the show itself.

Sending some love and crazy fan happiness into the world 🌎 💗 💕

Anyone else see these and immediately think of Slow Show by mia_ugly? Avery Fell's mam's crocheted doylies. Can highly recommend if you haven't read it. And if you haven't read it, where have you beeeeen!!!!

Side note. As someone who grew up in the North East of England I have to say Podfix's Hartlepool accent in her podfic version is pretty good.

Podfic Questions

I didnt want to bother anyone who’s here for the art with these questions, but if you are a podfic enthusiast/creator/reader could you maybe help me out? (Questions under keep reading) 

Does anyone have any podfic recommendations? or other sites that might have more podfics available? (I usually go for A03 and soundcloud but soundcloud I feel like is difficult to find different fics? idk if its just me or if I’m doing something wrong?) I just feel like I’ve listened to most of them in the fandoms I’m in, but at this point I’m willing to branch out to different fandoms. Anything help and if you record podfics I’d love to listen to them! Just send me a message with a link to it! 

(Fandoms I’ve listened to (even if I’m not actually in said fandom ((Actually now that I’m thinking about it, theres two or three shows listed here that I have never actually seen?
