There is nothing like a pristine starry night to make one marvel at the enormity of the universe. Too bad all we mostly see at night is white noise (aka light pollution). We decided that Friday we would drip diamonds from the speckled tips of our saliva drowned tongues, we would press our atoms into the firmament as distant suns and nebula creatures possessing horse-heads and gigantic feathers, spinning at speeds that this noble soil would never allow, our hair and skin was to sop up the luxurious perfumes and incenses within air we'd not yet breathed, bright, shimmering oxygen reaches we hadn't yet explored

and our toes were destined to tip across the edge of the day with seesaw velocity and the exuberance of neon light technicolor parade.
