Light Saw You
Light saw you spirited away with both wings being blonde.
You’re gone now; so I dream of you from here to beyond.
Red never did break only bend via flame breath.
Faceless like a ghost, loving you’s a tame death.

Flowers died leaving eerily, old sorcery
instilled fear in me. Another olden story,
clear to see it was bathed in golden forgery.
A tale to be, in parts like it was told in surgery.
I’m feeling livid and lucid but there’s more to me.
Love thinks I’m putrid and stupid,
I think I’m living it ornery.
