What depression feels like to me:
Depression to me is like walking through a raging blizzard. Marching forward through snow that’s up to your knees. The snow is thoughts of despair, hatred (ESPECIALLY self-hatred), and loneliness. With depression it feels like walking without seeing where you’re going because of all the “snow.” And sometimes it doesn’t even matter because you’re stuck. You’re stuck in the snow of hatred and feelings. Last point of it feeling like a blizzard is that you’re slowly dying. Kinda like you’re freezing to death.
I’m strugglin’ to keep my eyes open, these meds are killin’ me. But yet I complain about not getting enough sleep and feeling real tired in the morning.
Practicing arpeggios on the piano can be the most frustrating ordeal..
My head is saying "fool forget him", My heart is saying "don't let go".
