Mini-rant about work below.  Feel free to ignore.  I just had to whine briefly before bed.  

Oh goody, it’s supposed to be the warmest day so far this year, 77 degrees, and guess who has to work in a building where the air conditioning is down for maintenance, while wearing a mask, doing harder physical labor than I’ve done in two months? 

It’s me.  I hope you didn’t spend too much time guessing the answer.  Because obviously it’s me, and I’m not looking forward to it.

I know, I know, I’m grateful I have a job, and that administration is taking safety so seriously right now, etc., etc., but I don’t have to be cheery about marinating in my own sweat for hours on end.

freedom of speech was supposed to protect injustice or whatever theoretically but all it’s doing is protecting people who brainwash and manipulate cuz science has clearly proven that you can merely REPEAT something VERBALLY over and over in a specific way and it will cause reliable mental changes in the belief systems of an individual over and over again, somehow there are slander and libel laws but hate speech is completely legal here, the whole fuckin carceral system is a joke as a concept anyway tho so Fuck

It took two days for my local Walmart to deliver my Roku stick, and when I go to plug it in, it's so long that it doesn't fit. The packaging says I can order a free extender, but, like, why not just include one then? It's going to take a week for the extender to arrive... 😤 It's such a small first world problem, but it's the kind of shitty frustration that compounds; when everything else is hard, why can't this just be easy?
