✨ what draws you towards your hyperfixation? what is interesting about it?

utdr: it’s just....god what do i even say about it at this point in my relationship with it? it’s constant, it’s home, it’s trusted, i know it inside and out, i associate it with so many good friends, it spawned a lesser special interest (risen up) on its own...it’s also just so fucking good in every possible way and it does so many things so cleverly both from a meta standpoint and a character standpoint and it’s just so wonderful

spop: IT IS POST APOCALYPTIC FANTASY plus some of the most well-done and complex characters ive ever seen!!! it’s also so colorful and the character design is SO great!!!! i like just lookin at em sometimes

utdr: ok so i figured out in like late 2015 that the reason i cant pick a favorite ut character is that, if they were in other pieces of media, they would each be my favorite. like if there was a media with some other characters and papyrus and no other ut characters, he would be my favorite, same for sans and undyne and frisk and toriel and alphys and and and and...but they’re in the SAME GAME and i would die for all of them

spop: horde prime obviously....god he’s SO DIFFERENT of a villain than we thought he’d be!!!!! LIKE!!!! his interactions with hordak were SO SCARY and SO PERFECT. also hordak himself. im kind of ambivalent on him but people keep putting their entrap//dak posts in the entrapta tag and i dont LIKE IT. go away sad rat man i wanna see my girl

oh im so happy to see your ugly doll art!!! ive been so upset over how the movie seems to have hollowed out and genericized everything that makes ugly dolls unique as a long time fan of the franchise. seeing your fanart of the characters makes me so happy though, you understand their personalities so well and I wish you were in charge of the movie instead!!! (moxy is my favorite ugly doll character and i am upset to see her turned into that pink abomination just to sell toys fkfjfjf)

thank you!! tbh i havent seen the movie, but from what little i’ve seen it doesnt seem like they preserved their charm/feeling very much… the scenery is pretty different and character designs slightly so but something abt the differences really changes their vibes (not in a good way imo :-P)
