for anyone wondering about what's happening with me announcing something ammar needed and then disabling the reblog: essentially, one of the people who has been helping us with sending money to samah raised a red flag about the information we had been given, as it was inconsistent with all the information she has from other families she works with in gaza
after further investigation, we have concluded that all the needs she stated ammar needed have been fraudulent.
to be clear, there is a samah and ammar somewhere. i have more than enough private videos, photos, and other day to day, small interactions with them to make it impossible for these people to not exist. this alongside the photographs we received of all their illnesses, including being able to share when asked of them in the hospital, made me believe that they were legitimate - they were also able to prove themselves to 90-ghost, after all
however, i now do not think i was in contact with the true samah. i don't know if the real ammar ever needed heart surgery, but it is clear that the money we have been raising is clearly not for what she said it was.
therefore, i am no longer helping her.
my friends and i are working on shutting down the gofundme and refunding everyone we can from both ko-fi and the gofundme campaign, but a lot of the money was already sent through to them already.
i am sorry to everyone who worked hard to help ammar and spent so much money on him. my friends, who were helping me the most, have been hit the hardest, and i am most sorry of all to them.
