Imma be honest Poisonwine is my least favorite ship for Lila high key that isn't a gross taboo ship. I understand why people like it as it's canon and the appeal of "hey what was there relationship or whatever," and it also makes it pretty interesting for angst sometimes. But personally I don't care or give a crap about it besides it being some angst for a ship I actually care about like DeadLavender or Goldenlavender.

It doesn't help that we don't know anything about Skid's Dad so far besides what Pelo said. And sure I enjoy speculation and angst as the next guy (My favorite characters are kinda minor/obscure too and I do write angst) but also sometimes I want to do something that's actually concrete it has substance in the actual source material rather than making up some bullshit for it. And as a Lila stan I just want her to have some fluff or anything but suffering sometimes. Sure I like Lila angst and Poisonwine fluff exists but I want to give her a break and I'd probably read DeadLavender or Goldenlavender fluff more because I like Yuri more then hetstuff. Sorry not sorry.

Also this isn't supposed to bash anyone who ships them or anything. If you do that's good and keep doing what you enjoy. I'm just saying my opinion on this because I wanted to share.
