Open question from those from Pokemon, what Pokemon was your starter?

@ pokemon starters ! this is a fun interesting question because i dont remember anyone but my heracross! like sometimes i wonder if i DID have a piplup like im "supposed to" have in canon (or maybe even another sinnoh starter, given the whole "rival" thing!), but i'm pretty sure heracross and i have always been together, so i'm not sure why i would have been given a regular starter pokemon by prof rowan? whatever though! heracross is the answer -barry

Pokémon starters!

As Lucas I chose Turtwig! She was the sweetest Pokemon ever and I love her so much! She loved head pats and napping on my lap. Of course when she evolved into Torterra she couldn’t do that anymore (though she tried once and practically crushed me but she realized she was too big for that anymore). Instead she would have me nap on her back underneath her tree though.

As Red I chose Charmander which is pretty obvious lol. He was also very sweet but when he evolved into Charmeleon he entered this “rebellious teen” phase and became super stubborn and wouldn’t listen to me half the time. We would bump heads a lot but even then he would still show his affectionate side (albeit very subtle) and always had my back no matter what. But once he evolved into Charizard we instantly had this inseparable bond since.

And for Rei I chose Rowlet while my sister Akari chose Oshawott! Unfortunately I don’t remember him as much as I remember Turtwig and Charmander but I do remember choosing him because I thought he had such a cool vibe. That’s about as much as I remember though.

Big response here! For fictives in our system:

Grimsley- purrloin. It was a gift from his parents that he had for a long time before starting his journey. Her name was Silver

Volo- his is a weird technicality. Technically the first Pokémon he ever met and bonded with was Giratina, but from a trainer perspective, his starter was a togepi. Her name is Pecha

Wallace- a luvdisc! He remembers having her since he was a child while he was learning how to do Sootopolis Things:tm:

Arven- Mabosstiff (kind of obvious). Oddly enough he can’t remember if he raised him from a Maschiff or if he was always a Mabosstiff.

As for kin answers!

Corrin- from a region that isn’t canon, but I like the story so! Me and my twin brother both had lunecanpys! They’re little space/moon themed wolves. And me and my brother got a brother and sister lunecanpy from the same pack!

Guzma- wimpod

Astro (swsh protag) - I chose sobble! His name was River!

Nox- it was my houndoom! I can’t remember if I met them as a houndour or not but I was originally from Hoenn before moving to Orre! And they were from hoenn too! Came with me on the move :>

Ingo- litwik

AZ- floette (kind of redundant I know)

Probably late for the starter ask game but uhhh let's see

As Jesse my starter was my Ekans, and while I don't remember my starter as Yvonne, I do remember that my starter as Gloria was a shiny Scornunny I named Gracie. My twin sister had Grookey and Hop got Sobble lol

About what my starter Pokémon was, it was my Pawniard. He was eventually able to evolve into Bisharp, and later even Kingambit! He was my only Pokémon, and I love and miss him very much.

re: starter pokemon— i don't actually remember what my starter was, but it was probably a water type! it wasn't my milotic, but i caught her as a feebas fairly early on in my pokemon journey. -wallace oras #👁️🩸💧

Starter Pokémon, huh?

Well, despite being a Skull Grunt, I grew up in Sinnoh. My starter was a Piplup. His name is Emperor and he was an Empoleon eventually! He's so dear to me, even now!
