Gumi skipped through the dark town with a bright smile on her face. Something very rare to see. "The sound of a polka drifted from my neighbor's," Her feet tapped to the beat. "And sets my feet a-tapping oh!" Something must have happened for her to be this happy, perhaps she swindled some poor sap out of a lot of cash? Who knows.

  "Ieva's mother had her eye on her daughter but Ieva she managed to fool her, you know." Gumi let out a giggle as she spray painted the walls of a rec center. "'Cause who's going to listen to mother saying no," She jumped around.

  "When we're all busy dancing to and fro!"

Another split decision of carelessly roaming the city, not a bad idea he thought to himself. Normally, he would wait until dusk to walk the city streets but was in need of some fresh air one daunting afternoon. Better than doing homework he figured. His friends were doing fine as far as he knew yet he couldn't bring himself to shake the bad feeling he had in the pit of his stomach. He sighed deeply and continued on his way.

''Ahh. I need a job.'' He whined aloud as he stopped abruptly at a nearby shop. He placed his head down solemnly and placed a hand at his hip and sighed again. ''Well, times are tough.'' He turned around to head back home, eyes firmly shut with his arms resting upon his head as he did so. Little did he realize that he was close to walking right into his next attempt at a probably lost beauty. Opening one shut eye, he just noticed her and was flustered as he shook his head as if to scold himself.

He noticed he nearly knocked her down then. Extending an arm, he helped her up. ''Hey. I'm real sorry about that. I oughta watch where I'm going. You're cute. Gotta name? Angel, per chance? Cuz I'm pretty sure you musta flown down straight from heaven. Am I right, or am I right?''

A New Meeting || Taiga and Miku

Taiga threw herself down on the grass beside the path on route 5, she had had no luck in achieving her goal, and actually seemed to be more lost than she was when she first ended up in this world. She stared up at the clouds and then closed her eyes.

Her brown eyes flew open when she felt a weight on her chest. Glancing forward, she realised that her Growlithe- Rin, had settled down to sleep on her chest. Taiga smiled, she wasn't surprised that the animal was tired, they had been running around for the whole day, and Rin refused to go in a Pokeball or be carried. 

She sighed and pulled herself to her feet. Holding her Growlithe in her arms she continued to walk. She caught a glimpse of blue hair within the trees and her eyes widened with excitement.

"Ryuuji?" Taiga began to sprint through the trees, when she ran straight into a low branch and fell to the floor. "Ow..." She murmured and rubbed her head as she began to stand up. Her Growlithe barked loudly, and Taiga followed it's gaze to the bluenette.

Taiga let out a sigh when she realised that the person was female. She turned away from the girl and was about to start walking when she heard a beautiful sound. Swiftly turning back, she realised that the woman singing. Her eyes and mouth widened happily, the song was so uplifting.

When the girl was finished Taiga applauded. "Wow, you're a really good singer!" Taiga paused. "Sorry if you didn't want me to hear you..." Taiga smiled and looked up at the girl, "I'm Taiga!"
