A thought about pokemon Violet/Scarlet+Opinions the game

I'll talk about my opinion first which is a unpopular one, personally I think Violet and Scarlett are completely undeserving of all the hate. The game is genuinely good, sure it has its problems but they're not as bad as everyone acts like they are. Balancing issues in the game can be frustrating but after a while its fine. This is Pokemons first full blown Open World, people need to stop acting like its not. Most of the new pokemon designs aren't bad like people act like jfc I love almost all of them. The story is really good and I love the mini twist

Now to an idea I wished was in the game(and I honestly will make an au for) is that due to the paradox pokemon it would've given them so much of a reason to include Ingo showing up, in Scarlet at least. It would've worked so well as a after story part where you go to the Great Crater after meeting a tall, tired looking man which is Emmet. He wants to search Area Zero just in hopes of finding his brother since the pokemon are from the past, so You agree and enter. As you're searching you eventually find Ingo, still amnesic, Emmet trying to run up to hug him only for Ingo send out a Sneasler out as he originally perceived Emmet as a threat. Ingo not recognizing Emmet both since, ya know, amnesia and because Emmet has become more disheveled over the years searching and stressing about where Ingo was.

You and Emmet are forced to battle Ingo, which he'd use his typical team with Sneasler included. After the battle you're able to convince Ingo to come with Emmet and you, though Emmets now having to deal with the fact his Brothers amnesic

And has a giant, purple, anthro weesle/cat.

I’m really excited for it. An open-world mainline Pokemon game with the best graphics to-date; I think it looks colorful and alive and really good so far. There’s a lot of improvements to make from SwSh and it looks like they’re going in a good direction. I think Spain is a great inspiration with a lot of potential.

“Scarlet and Violet” don’t sound great together imo, but I love the classic return to colors and the theories about the names relating to the light spectrum (ultra violent and infrared are on opposite ends of the spectrum).

The starters aren’t my favorites out of all of them, but overall I like them all and I think they all have a lot of potential. I don’t like the trend of anthro starters who fit a human role or class, so I’d love a return to more animal-looking final evolutions. I think Sprigatito is kind of an uninspired grass-type cat, but it’s still a nice design. Quaxly is cute but probably my least favorite (it reads very much as just a generic cartoon duck in a little hat to me). Fuecoco is kind of goofy, but I have the highest hopes for because there’s a few cool elements in its design and I think it’s final evo has the potential to be really awesome. I’m always biased towards reptiles though.

@pkmurasaki It's definitely possible, but I think it'd be a little too similar to Snivy (Starts with all four legs, evolves into a snake), and that they’d probably just start with a snake if it’s going to be a snake. Besides that, Fuecoco just doesn't look like it's going in that direction to me (chonky croc), but you never know!
