Pokemon Trainer Trent's goal is to not only catch em all, but to study all electric pokemon. He also wants to study to become a pokemon professor while being an electric type gym leader on the side.
I don't know about the gym leader part yet, but he certainly became a professor! Luxe doesn't exist until then, and she's powered by his aging Raichu
