Everything leading up to this shoot was so much fun: finding the stage pole, off-roading to select a location, planning what tricks to do, etc.

Maggie has been my closest pole friend for the past two years. She’s finally heading back to Germany next month, and I can’t help but feel as if this shoot was her parting gift to us. We couldn’t have been luckier.

My pole audience tonight just wouldn’t stay in their seats

Found a new studio, and I’m working on these things called caterpillar push-ups.

My brain just......can’t seem to grasp it. I need to work on my shoulder strength as well as whatever movement I’m supposed to do to push my legs back up onto the pole so that I can continues to come down and do another.

I have not worked with a spin pole or done non-russian exotic tricks in over a month. Please enjoy this video of me trying to navigate that again while the lighting makes my butt cheeks a hilarious shape.

Staying in isolation, training via webcam, and getting a swab shoves up my nose several times made this moment all worth it. So glad to have introduced russian exotic to some of these people, and happy that we finally got to meet up and film our piece together as a group.
