So I contacted this company a few weeks back that only does storm work. I got my first call today around 12:30 in the afternoon. I had to report to the show up some place in Connecticut by 3:00 this afternoon. The place is a 3 hour drive from here. I still needed to get my gear ready and staged, that’s on me, but damn that is a short time to respond. I had to turn it down. I’ll be ready for the next one. Here we go again. It's not as many steps as usual, but today has been about more than meeting a step goal. I went hiking today, and it was amazing! We climbed all the way to the top of one hill, and the view was unbelievable. Then, I did some pole climbing. It kind of like rock climbing, but instead of a wide flat surface covered in rock handles (I'm new to this, so I don't know the actual name for those 😅), you climb a tall wooden pole. At the very top is a platform, which we were given the challenge to haul ourselves onto it and to stand up on it. And... I DID IT!!!! Again, the view was spectacular. Anyway, I got to do a great range of workouts and full body exercises. A good day for me 😊

i should learn (nonsexual) pole dancing and climbing

i walk faster than most of my friends so i wonder if to wait for them i could just like climb a pole
