Publishing news... rather unexpected.

If nothing changes, and nobody suddenly performs some dark magic upon this whole situation, I will have:

a short story published in a magazine that will be out in the newsstands in whole Poland this Thursday (this much I know is guaranteed)

a story published next year, again, same magazine, as a result of a story competition I submitted to last year

...the same story translated to Italian...!!! and published...!!!! In "Mondi Incantati" anthology...!!!!

Yeah, so. My life just took a very very weird turn this weekend ;)

I'm low-key loving how Polish leftist MPs are calling out AOC for voting against taking money from russian oligarchs when she's all about taxing the rich etc bc that situation sums up a difference between western and eastern leftists perfectly like ok we get it you bunch of russia-apologists

Since closing borders due to coronavirus outbreak, many border towns like Cieszyn/Těšín, usually existing as one, suddenly became divided. Those photos of banners hung on two sides of the border appeared in most of our national news and social media and I thought I will share them here as well, as they are a proof that people's solidarity and just general kindness are even more evident in those trying times.

for once I'm rly happy Poland made it into international news bc a woman mistook a croissant for a lagun animal and not bc the country took another step towards dictatorship that hates women and minorities 🤷‍♀️ (although, if you must know, it DID take another step this week woohoo)
