• Well it finally happened! Today we packed up the computers in my office and said goodbye for the foreseeable future! Boss thinks we may be working from home for the next few months even! I’m ecstatic because I’m proud to be one of the companies and people setting a good example when thousands upon thousands of people are still behaving irresponsibly in this country. It’s going to be tough for me because I thrive on human contact. No one ever said self isolation and social distancing was going to be easy. But we do it to protect people like my asthmatic brother and my 80 year old grandparents, neither of which I could ever live without. I can live without my big events this year and my holidays and my coffee dates and my drunken nights out and my movie nights. Guys, there are things in life SO much more important than going to the fucking pub during a pandemic. This is Merlin. Merlin is longingly staring out the window because he is self isolating. He knows it’s hard but he does it for the good of vulnerable people around him. Merlin is smart.
