I dont know if this is aloud, but for the rouge poll, there's a key piece of context that makes the answer clear

In Sonic Battle, she explicitly states how much she wouldn't want to be a mother figure

Thanks for the feedback, on this occasion I don't agree: the 'answer' is not 'clear', because there isn't a right answer - this is not a trivia recall operation!

In seriousness, I don't want to do this type of thing. The policy of not including quotes and facts from the series is informed by a few things:

Not everyone takes every game as canon. You can - and people do - pick and choose.

Not everyone reads every scene the same - someone could have taken a sentence you interpret as straightforward as sarcastic, deflective or deceitful.

Not everyone is familiar with every game, and that's okay - their opinion is still relevant.

Very few polls are as simple as 'oh there's a scene in [installment] that says this, so that's the answer'. The poll in question isn't 'Does Rouge want to be a mom/ mother figure in canon?', it was 'Do you think Rouge is motherly or a "mom friend"?'. That is still a subjective opinion, even though there is canon that might inform your reading of Rouge.

Ultimately, the vast majority of the polls this blog hosts are not questions that can be objectively answered. There is often a common opinion, and that opinion is often dictated by something in canon, but I never want people to feel incorrect for their answer that deviates from the norm. No bad questions, and not my place to tell people what they should believe about the series.

For this poll, I considered using her Sonic battle sprite to recall this relevant scene, which was the first thing that came to mind for me. However, I felt that the poll was already borderline biased: it has two negative options, one of which had more color than the rest of the answers and is a semi-popular headcanon I was aware of. I felt that this potentially betrayed what might be the submitter's opinion, so I didn't want to put any more that could leading. It wasn't too bad, so I listed it as is, but I didn't want to add to it.

Debating and evidencing opinions is very much the job of the reblogs and replies, not me or the askers.
