Quite amusing that Ruby's mum leaving her/the show happened with her getting into a taxi and watching Ruby as she leaves - that's such a stereotypical Corrie "I'm exiting the show, I may never return" move

I really loved the twist in last night in soho. The whole film is set up to emphasise how alone you are without good people around you - the shitty flatmates vs the complete isolation of the dancers in the same space (the doorframe are used so well here!), the way the police treat eloise as crazy and tell sandie there's no hope for her, the way eloise becomes sandie more and more throughout the movie - its all so good.
