Jealousy Headcanons - Mileven x Reader

Request: Could u write a mileven x reader and them being jealous x I love for your hc’s ❤️

- mike and el are both teenagers, so they tend to get jealous pretty easily

- mike's just better at hiding it

- you can usually see he’s jealous by seeing little tics in his behavior

- like he’ll start shaking his leg while you’re talking

- or he has a really annoyed look on his face and he’s barely looking at you

- he’s not on meth. he’s just reaaallllllllllly jealous

- like one time, a guy tried flirting with you in the hallway

- you rejected him, of course, and told him that you were dating mike and you weren’t looking to date anyone else

- outside of el, of course

- and the guy just shrugged it off and you walked back over to mike

- mike slammed his locker shut and barely said two words while you were talking to him

- he was shaking his leg and smiling really passive aggressively

- he finally breaks after like two minutes

- “you know, we’re always seen together. i don’t see why people don’t realize we’re dating. i mean, we hold hands and stuff. i don’t really put my arm around your shoulder or kiss you in the hallways like that. i don’t see the point. i mean, it’s really weird. i can do it if we have to? maybe i should do it. what if i--”

- please give him a hug. he doesn’t cope with jealousy very well.

- most of the time he won’t go out of his way to confront the person. he generally doesn’t like doing that

- el doesn’t give a single fuck.

- she is way too willing to confront a bitch.

- if she sees someone flirting with you in the halls, she will come up behind you and give them a death stare.

- “this is my girlfriend, jane”

- the person will eventually get super freaked out and walk away, and el very well could leave them alone.

- she doesn’t.

- remember that scene when el thought max and mike were dating and she flipped max’s skateboard?

- yeah, it’s like that but over the span of a few days

- time period depends on the severity of the flirting

- the person’s locker keeps slamming shut every time they open it? it was el. the person’s books always fall when they’re in class or in the halls? it was probably el. they go biking and the wheels keep turning in the wrong direction and they magically end up in a bush? el.

- she’ll 100% deny it though. mike will side with her.

- needless to say, they’re both a bit childish when it comes to jealousy. they always get over it in the end !! just cuddle with them and assure them that you love them. they need all the love they can get.

Reader Gets Sick with the Flu - Mileven Headcanons

- ok so eleven doesn’t know what to do

- like at all

- she’s literally like immune to being sick. she’s never even had a cold before

- let alone chicken pox

- ( which makes for bad news with max gets the chicken pox )

- anyway

- mike and eleven were spending time together at the cabin, waiting for you to come, when they got a call from your house

- “ what do you mean you’re SICK? “

- “ mike what the fuck do you think i mean by ‘i’m sick’ “

- “ what do you have? malaria? influenza? the plague? “

- “ ... a fever... “

- mike hands up and immediately rushes around the cabin to see if hopper keeps any cold medicine around

- “where’s y/n? “

- “ she’s sick. we have to go see her. “

- “ sick? “

-” yes, sick. she’s dying. she’s sweating, throwing up, coughing, her body temperature’s rising -- “

- “ she’s dying? “

- “ well, no, but-- “

- el is very confused when they come over and you’re not on the floor dying

- mike has enough medicine to restock an entire pharmacy

- “ do you have a stomach ache? i brought pepto bismol, tylenol, aspirin, mucinex, nurofen, pediacare, motrin, beylin -- i even brought some vicks. i don’t know if that’s any good. the filipino kid at our school talks about it a lot -- “

- mike is never trusted with his parents’ credit card ever again

- comforting mike and assuring him that you’re going to be okay

- having to explain to el that not everyone has an immune system of steel and that you would be better in a few days

- “ so you’re not dying? “

- “ no, el. “

- she smiles and hugs you, but you quickly push her away because you don’t want her to get sick

- el ignoring you and kissing you out of spite, assured that she wouldn’t get sick

- “ well i guess there’s no stopping you then “

- el smiling and jumping onto the bed, cuddling with you

- mike pouting because he can’t cuddle with his partners

- him taking care of you regardless and getting you warm cloths to put on your head, even when you don’t need them

- mike practically counting down the seconds until the next time you have to take your medicine

- el booping your nose every time you close your eyes for too long

- asking both of them to bring you stuff if they’re too far out of arm’s reach and el doing it for you

- mike arguing with his mom when she tells him he has to go home for the night

- only leaving past 11pm and when nancy has to practically drag him out of the house

- him coming back the next morning but a lot later because he was up late worrying about you

- el being able to spend the night with you because hopper doesn’t hate you as much as he hates mike

- you eventually get better after a few days. mike comes over and you wake up feeling a lot better, el sleeping on your chest

- mike smiling and finally being able to kiss you good morning

- accidentally waking el up because you were talking too loud

- only to hear her coughing and having a croaky voice

- she turns to look at you two and frowns

- “ i’m dying. “

- laughing and hugging her

- mike running out of the room to go and grab all of the medicine out of your medicine cabinet

Reader Has Severe Arachnophobia - Mileven x Reader

Request: Hi! Thank you for the previous headcannons. Could you write another fic or headcannon for me? Where the reader has severe arachnophobia and sees a spider and mileven,especially eleven comforts the reader?

- ok so just to let everyone know, you’ve had arachnophobia for, like, forever

- like you can literally remember being like eleven years old and having a panic attack because there was a jumping spider in your room

- and you literally slept in the living room for like two weeks after that

- so when you joined the gang and had to face a fucking SPIDER MONSTER?

- nope sorry buddy fuck that shit i’m out

- ok obviously you stayed because you’re not a terrible person

- but finding out that el got injured by a fucking GIANT FUCKING SPIDER MADE YOU LOSE YOUR ABSOLUTE SHIT

- mike had to help you through a panic attack when you found out, because the rest of the gang didn’t really understand that it was a mixture of el getting kidnapped and the fact that she was kidnapped by a giant spider that made you flip shit

- mike didn’t want to let you fight. it would cause too much anxiety for you and it would be hard to protect you while you were in between your fight or flight instincts

- so you fought, but you mostly stayed with robin and steve so you had minimal contact

- it drove you fucking insane knowing that the creature was literally created to kill eleven

- absolutely fucking insane

- steve and robin were better at talking you down than mike

- who was mostly in panic mode at the time

- at the end of the fight, el ran to you and wrapped her arms around you

- she was in a lot of pain, but she wanted to make sure that you were okay and you wanted to know whether she was okay

- she loved you, and you loved her.

- the entire event caused you severe trauma, and it was really bad for your anxiety

- a lot of the time you wake up in the middle of the night from flashbacks, but that’s another story

- so during the summer, you try to spend as much time as possible with el

- you fall asleep together, and usually she can tell whether or not you’re having a nightmare

- she wakes you up if she can tell, but if she’s asleep, please wake her up

- she just wants to be there for you

- mike is there for you, too

- he’s a bit more awkward when it comes to comforting people, and while he experienced the same event you did, he doesn’t really know what to say

- so a lot of the time, he’ll just curl up next to you two and hold you while holding hands with el

- he and el are really good at being the ones to kill spiders for you

- they don’t like seeing you in distress and they’ll really just so anything to make sure that you’re comfortable and happy

The Reader Gets Hurt! - Mileven Headcanons

- let it be known that mike and eleven aren’t even good at handling when you get p a p e r c u t s

- so when you get hurt in a battle with the mindflayer

- they are fUCKING LIVID

- basically what happened was the mindflayer got you in the stomach, but it wasn’t so deep that eleven couldn’t get it away from you

- steve managed to get you out of there and you waited outside the mall while everyone kept fighting

- lucas had to calm down mike and eleven because of how worried they were about you

- as soon as the fight ended and they’d won, they rushed outside to see you

- you were lying down on steve and he was applying pressure to your wound with a f-cking scoops ahoy hat

- an ambulance arrived and mike and eleven refused to leave your side, even when your parents finally arrived

- the doctor tried to kick them out of the room multiple times, but it just resulted in angry glares from the both of them

- as soon as you come to, they’re at your side immediately

- “ are you okay? what the fUCK Y/N, I TOLD YOU TO FUCKING-- ”

- eleven: “ shut up. ”

-  needless to say, mike is Not Happy

- but he is relieved that you’re okay

- like, e x t r e m e l y relieved that you’re okay

- eventually climbs into the hospital bed and curls up beside you

- he and el take turns

- el doesn’t say much and immediately starts crying and apologizing

- she blames herself for letting you get hurt, she saw it as her mission to protect you and she failed at the one thing she was supposed to be good at

- please remind her that it’s not her fault that you got hurt !!!! it’ll haunt her for so long and she won’t realize that it isn’t

- once you finally get out of the hospital, they’re coming over everyday

- eleven brings you chocolates hoping they’ll make you feel better

- usually they do. she brings the good kind

- mike is freaking out trying to take care of you

- “did you take your medicine today? i know that painkillers aren’t good for you but they’re really important and i don’t want you to get hurt”

- “did you change your bandages today? how many times? ok that means that you have to change them in two more hours”

- “did you eat? how much? i’m gonna go get some food from the kitchen”

- “don’t eat too many of those chocolates, they’ll give you a stomach ache and no one wants that”

- “did max come over earlier? she can’t teach you skateboard tricks for a while, you might get hurt again or open up your stitches or--”

- a collective “SHUT UP, MIKE” from both you and eleven

- but please understand that he’s doing his best !!!!! he doesn’t mean to be annoying, he just hates seeing you hurt and not being able to do anything about it

- they both are. they really just want to see you get better and it kills them knowing that you got hurt right in front of them.

Sleepover - Mileven x Reader

- Hopper had to go out of town with Joyce, so he left Eleven with Nancy

- Meaning: You were not supposed to be there

- But apparently Hopper forgot that Nancy,,, is Mike’s,,,, sister,,,,,,,,

- You and Mike were hanging out in his room, cuddling, when you heard Nancy on the phone with Hopper

- You raced to the walkie-talkie to ask El what was happening

- Honestly, she was just about as clueless as you. Hopper waited until after to tell her

- She was given one rule : No Y/N, no Mike

- Okay so technically two rules

- But she missed her significant others. Ever since Mike had an argument with Hopper, he was limited to spending 2-3 hours with her alone. She rarely had time with the three of you together

- Mike 100% bribed Nancy to let you guys come over

- “Nanc--”

- “No”

- “But--”

- “No”

- “What about--”

- “No”

- “Twenty bucks”

- “....”

- “Thirty”

- “Thirty-five.”

- “Thirty-three”

- This was the point where you cut in with:

- “Mike what kind of fucking number--”

- Regardless, you two ended up coming over

- You didn’t tell El about it at first. You wanted it to be a surprise

- The only problem was that she was sleeping when you, Nancy, and Mike finally arrived

- So when she heard three people come through the door, she threw a couch against the door and trapped you guys in the doorway

- Nancy wasn’t very happy about it

- She just stayed in the living room watching TV while you guys went into El’s room and kept the door shut

- You weren’t even doing anything that bad?

- El was just really touch-starved so you were in cuddle piles most of the time

- Arguing with Mike over what music to play

- Getting mad at Mike when he would sing to the music he was playing

- Changing the radio station

- El moved the TV into her room so you guys could watch together

- She had a big bed but you guys decided to make a bed on the floor

- Mike was usually in the middle when you guys watched movies, so you guys could both wrap your arms around him

- When the morning came, everyone was dead asleep

- Even Nancy, who had come in during the night and fallen asleep on El’s bed

- So no one heard Hopper coming in through the door

- He was heated at first

- But then he saw how happy El looked nice to you guys

- He couldn’t be mad at kids just wanting to be happy together

- But he was never leaving town for the night ever again.

Mileven x Reader - Halloween Headcanons

- let it be known that mike did NOT want you guys to go out halloween

- not only was he worried about el being seen, he was worried about the three of you

- hawkins was a small town in the eighties where homophobic slurs were thrown around in every direction. no one was really open-minded when it came to polyamorous relationships

- el’s usual tactic for defending the three of you together was to scare them, but that would just result in her revealing herself

- it was generally a cycle of torture and stress on mike’s end

- but you and el really wanted to go outside and hang out together for halloween, because the three of you hadn’t been able to do a lot of couple-y things that normal teenagers got to do

- it took A LOT of convincing

- but eventually mike agreed to have the three of you go out with the party and camp out in the hills

- everyone came dressed up

- the three of you wanted to do matching costumes but no one knew what to wear

- so all of the outfits are really uncoordinated and awkward

- “i said you should be a knight, mike” “ohh.. i thought you said i should be the NIGHT”

- teasing from the rest of the party

- “what the fuck are you wearing?” “shut the fuck UP”

- “oof i think i forgot to bring my skateboard, will. sorry. i didn’t mean to ruin your NIGHT”

- telling scary stories and eleven being super freaked out

- cuddling el BECAUSE she’s super freaked out

- eventually the three of you leave to go hang out by yourselves so you can have some alone time away from the rest of the party

- mike being really glad that he got to spend halloween with you two

- surprise candy bag

- el eating a whole bunch of the chocolate kisses and taking some home to bring to hopper

- el kissing your face a lot even though her lips are covered in chocolate

- you trying to wipe them away only for her to give you more

- mike making fun of you guys

- “you guys are so immature”

- you and eleven share a look before pouncing onto him and covering him with kisses as he tries to fight you off

- cuddling underneath the stars and just enjoying what time you have together
