polyghouls but they are all idiots (canon). no one knows anyone has interest in themself (ex: fire thinks no ones interested in him, aether thinks all the others are already dating, etc) pining to the MAX purely bc theyre all stupid when it comes to seeing that people are attracted to them

THAT'S LITERALLY IT THO THATS HOW POLYGHOULS IS AT FIRST. Or even as relationships form its like. Yes Rain and Swiss are clearly in love and its painfully obvious to everyone expect them. Dew is desperate for Mountain's dick but thinks Mountain thinks he's too small, meanwhile Mountain wants to pin him down and rail him but is afraid of hurting him. Aether is constantly making heart eyes at Thunder every time she whips out that keytar but she's too focused on playing her solo to notice.
