Day 4: What would you describe your study method as?
My approach to studying is so multi-faceted this question lowkey brings me dread, haha. I act on my belief that each study method has its own perks, so I dare not limit myself to just one or a few just because some quizzes told me I’m some type of learner. I won’t completely discredit the approach though! I have been told I am a kinesthetic learner which I agree with very much. Being hands on and trying something or figuring out something for myself is golden for solidifying something into my memory. However incorporating methods that cater to listening, visual, and all of the above is critical for further concreting understanding in your studies.
I firmly believe this, and I think by taking this kind of approach, I have significantly improved my ability to memorize quickly and from the getgo. What used to take me five billion passovers to learn a set of 20 new vocab, now only takes three, which you can imagine by how much that cuts down the time I spend studying things and how much time is freed to spend on others.
Since my main studies center around languages, I'll go ahead and share a past study schedule I used to follow that illustrates the emphasis on touching more than one area.
On another note, today I emptied my old phones of pictures and stuff so i could recover those before i got rid of them and omgggggggg. So many memories (And cringey photos/videos lol).
