I love when polyamory people get angry because it makes them reveal what polyamory is really about. The screenshotted message above is what they sent first, then the second one after.

We all know you think sex is a conquest and that's why, no matter what the rhetoric afterward, your knee-jerk response is to boast about how much sex and sexual partners you have, in the most derogatory way possible.

I am not jealous or afraid of people who use others as objects, actually, but thanks.

Unfriendly reminder that I'm Very Polyamorous and if you're monogamous you do NOT get to call media raising awareness to different types of polyamory 'suspicious' or say that there's a 'lack of trust' in the way the relationship is set up. Let polyamorous people speak about the topic themselves, ask for the opinions of nonmono people because you don't have the same understanding as we do. I do not care if it 'rubs you the wrong way'. What you're actually trying to get across is that you're monogamous and don't want to verbalize your distain for how others set up their relationships properly but you know EXACTLY what it is that you don't like and want us to know that you do.

All that matters is that open communication in a relationship/relationships. There needs to be an understanding. Secondary partners are not unethical if people know they're secondary partners and are fine with that. Having the expectation that someone's needs could change and you may go from a primary partner to a secondary partner is not horrible as long as you're both aware and okay with that

You fuckers wouldn't go off at a mono person for breaking off a long-term relationship because they someone needed other things. So what do you think you're getting off on saying that it would feel 'dangerous and unsafe' having expectations that maybe possibly one day your partner/s would persue someone else as a primary partner?

Why are we poly people experiencing so much hate??? We're literally just minding our business why do we have to deal with everyone's bitchass saying our relationships are like cheating or whatever else these idiots say?

People feel threatened by polyamory. A lot of morals are based on the belief that monogamy is the only way. It is acceptable to abandon your friends and other important relationships once you have a romantic partner. People do awful terrible things in the spirit of competition that monogamy breeds. To see people being so happy in multiple relationships breaks down the justification for those toxic behaviors. People feel guilty and judged. They refuse to accept it. They don't believe people can actually be happy in multiple relationships, that it must be a trick or a lie.

Stay strong. Your happiness is what matters, not the feelings of cowardly bigots.

Sharing this because this was going around as a very anti-polyam meme. And then other people tried to counter it saying it meant something else. I really don't like the post but every now and then I like to post examples of people being mean to polyamory so people can prepare themselves for the bigotry they face.
