This is typical for how the beginning of the gardening season goes. Not pictured is a large tin of eggshells that I save up to put in the "new" compost at the start of the season...I got distracted, then came back to find Thor casually eating them like popcorn. Crunch. Crunch. Crunch.
I don't think Tribble meant to be cold, she just hasn't figured out how to handle unexpected situations well due to her puppy-mill rescue background. I do admit though, I love it when the dog writes the comic for me.
My brother and I assumed that Tribble was a stubborn pom, but after a few strange "not stubborn" instances, I realized that she has lost a significant range of her hearing. Taz and Thor also do NOT appreciate me tinkering with a dog whistle app to gauge the range that she has lost.
The other day, Taz gave me the look of silent judgement as I tried to hurry Thor along. If I could put her stare into words, this is kind of what I think she meant.
As a puppy mill rescue, Tribble was kept in poor conditions, and a lot of the world is scary and new.
What do you think of "Doodle Time?" Is it something worth occasionally adding to the end of comics?
*sigh* These adorable pups and their interest in anything that leaves my hand...
It makes a lot of energy to pitch a fit all night, and a girl has to rest! I wish there was a way to explain to a dog that their human had to deploy to a far off land for awhile.
