okay but i do really think the pooka movies are underrated for the sole reason of how different the two movies are. the original pooka is a strange and nonsensical psychological horror film about a knockoff furby taking the world by storm and its downfall after a mascot suit possesses a man going through romantic issues, who proceeds to commit several murders and then presumably commit arson. pooka lives is a gay slasher comedy featuring a former actor from supernatural in which a creepypasta attempts to kill a ragtag group of idiots

Perusing Hulu horror movies when I found two of my favorite geeks, Felicia Day and Wil Wheaton in the same movie. So much fun! (Spoilers: Wheaton’s character rolls a figurative natural one 😂)

3 months late but I just watched #PookaLives on Hulu and boy it was good! Better than the first I think. I'd totally want that team on my side!!

The first Pooka movie was a mindscrew where we weren’t sure what was happening and what was the protagonist going insane.  The sequel was a horror-comedy about creepypasta monsters getting sexy fanart.

I liked the sequel better because I am a dumb person.

Every single hour I spent in college following the Slenderman legend as it grew and mutated has paid off in that I can now fully appreciate the plot and lore of the film Pooka Lives.
