Sunday, sunshine ☀️ and #yoga🤸🏼♂️ As I get older yoga has taught me different things. At first it was about fitness and just conditioning my body, now in my late 30's (yes I have no problem sharing my age!) it's more about feeling comfortable in my own skin, #selflove 💓and acceptance. My 30's have been an intense period of trials, tribulations and achievement in all areas of my life, and yoga and meditation have helped me take inventory with massive self-reflection. One thing I've struggled with, like a lot of women, is body image issues and I've always been my own worst critic! As I slowly master the art of not giving a f*#k about what other people think, I'm also releasing my own fear-based need for perfection. I do yoga, work out and #eatclean because I love 💜my body, not because I hate it. I doubt I'll ever be at a place where I'm not striving for growth on either a physical, mental, emotional or spiritual level...because I'm keenly aware of my own potential and living sub par to that is just not an option for me...but there is a mindful balance to be struck between growth and acceptance! #yogafitgirl #yogagirl #yogalove #poolsideyoga #fitgirl #eatcleantraindirty #strongisthenewskinny (at Phoenix, Arizona)
