I remember i soloed caitlin with zoroark by tricking her ai into using psychic moves by having zoroark disguised as emboar. It was fun.
See parents abandon children and even as adults they blame themselves for parents actions. :(
oh caitlin... oh caitlin is having... what would you call those. flashbacks?
earth-23 wells is a proud soccer dad trope for jessie. has a shelf with all her awards and a wall for her key to the city
100% yes.
He’s on the PTA and gets in passive aggressive snits with the other soccer parents. Omg, so Hunter Zolomon on this Earth is also totally a normal suburban guy? What if Jay Garrick is too? (Who knows, maybe Henry Allen has an estranged twin from birth he found in adulthood?)
Along with Joe, they’re basically just like the Cool Dads(TM) of the suburbs?
They come over to Joe’s for poker once a week and Hunter brings baked goods from his wife Ashley while Wells shows off photos and highlights for all Jessie’s latest accomplishments :D
If he’s still a scientist then he totally still works with Caitlin-23 and Caitlin-1 just wants to sneak over to Earth 23 sometimes and pick his brain for ideas because her Wells happened to be an evil imposter and she really could be publishing more with the type of mentorship that Wells is providing to her doppleganger. Not that she’ll admit that as the reason she likes to hop over to that Earth.
“Why do I want to come with you to visit 23? Um. Well, you know, my doppleganger gave me such a lovely card last time we met and I just want to return the favor!”
“I can just take her a card if you want?”
“You know what, Barry, my bags are packed, let’s just...” waves impatiently.
Cisco is laughing behind his hand at her and Barry just sighs. He’s going to have to deal with her complaining the whole way home about Caitlin-23′s newest publication. She doesn’t know about it yet. It was in Nature.
He regrets ever letting them meet.
The lovely Cailtlin Snow, with Useful knowledge and explanation FOR ALL THINGS and a bag full of MATERIALS
Ooooh for the “who I remind you of” ask meme???
I love it :D Thank you!!!
oh I like this prompt! #2?
#2 for Aodhan Trevelyan - honestly been wanting to write this for a while! Prompt: a letter about your OC from one of their relatives.
——–
Dearest sister,
Hello from sunny Ostwick! It’s been such a lovely spring. I hope the weather in the Dales is as mild, though I do recall last year how you said you were swamped in unseasonable snow.
With spring in full bloom, we’ve been attending events right and left - the Marquis’ cotillion in Val Royeaux was especially magnificent! I wish you could have seen it. My gown was stunning. Oliver and I felt that Aodhan was ready for his first ball; he was splendid. We’ve been working on his etiquette and I daresay he charmed several young ladies that night. We’ll need to work on his blushing, though, if he’s to find a suitable wife. I think it’s sweet, but it will likely not impress future in-laws.
Kian and Eimar were so jealous of their big brother. I’ve told them it’s just a few more years until their turn, but sibling rivalry is alive and well. Thankfully we sorted out our differences years ago, eh?
I’m glad to hear you and Guillaume are doing well with little Natalie. The sketch you sent was so charming. She has your eyes. How do you find the time? Perhaps we’ll be able to visit this year if our holdings do well.
My one regret is that Oliver and I only had boys. I love our sons dearly, of course, but I admit a bit of jealousy with your Natalie! Especially when the boys tramp in from the grounds covered in muck and brandishing lizards… and yet I adore them, lizards and all.
Though, there is one small matter to ask of you, and I hesitate because of its sensitive nature. I hope you will keep this matter private. Do you recall Great-Aunt Theodora, Grandmother’s estranged sister? I have very little recollection of her, but I always thought there was something strange there. A rumor, perhaps, of magic?
I know, I know; I don’t like to think of it either. But I worry sometimes that something may be amiss with Aodhan. It’s natural to fret about children as they reach this uncomfortable time; twelve can be such a trying age, as you and I well remember. I wouldn’t be as concerned if it was only that he wants to be alone more, and is prone to emotional outbursts if things don’t go his way; any youth is much the same at this age, my friends assure me.
Yet he has told me of dreams, sister, where everything seems far too real; he tells me that he speaks with…things, when he sleeps. Not every night, thank the Maker, but he never used to remember his dreams before.
I want to dismiss it as imagination. I know there is no magic in the Trevelyan line. But what of Theodora? Why was she so reclusive?
I have not told Oliver of my concerns. Aodhan himself has not guessed; he still plays with his brothers at being templars now and then. I couldn’t bear –
Please, if you visit Mother and Father, see if you can find out more. I know she would wish to call the templars immediately, despite any proof. But you, sister, I can trust to find this out discreetly. If Theodora was merely a black sheep, I will sleep much easier.
Pray with me my worries are nothing more than a mother’s foolish fancy. And please, write back as soon as you are able.
All my love, your sister,Caitlin Trevelyan
