Enjoying BEASTARS s3 so far. I've only watched the first 7 episodes. They condensed a lot of plot stuff which is good because the manga after high school was kinda all over the place. But the density of characterization is suffering a little. Not a huge loss, but noticeable.

English cast continues to be peak meme material. The line living rent free in my head right now is "this woman had never had an unvoiced thought in her entire life" or however Louis put it. 🤣🤣🤣 That and the scene where Juno goes to Legoshi for advice and tells him like... her whole life story. 1000/10 would lol again

Sagwan sounds perfect (oh and speaking of lines: "valued customer, my finger is not a noodle!" jfc I love Jonah Scott) as does Melon????? OMG??? Gives him an air of menace and an edge he didn't have in the manga. (As a rule I never really liked Melon bc he looks ridiculous and his name is fucking melon. But the anime is doing a good job so far building him up)

Anyway. Gotta go to bed bc I have work tomorrow. After I finish up I will write a detailed report

Hey there Gemgirl, so I was re-reading "The one where they get engaged" to help with my ZK week stuff and "24 hours" and it kind of just dawned on me that Haru didn't give up trying to win Katara even after she got engaged to Zuko and tried again on their wedding day so I was just curious in your head cannon does the guy ever move on or does he keep proposing to her every time he sees her? :)

Ok so spoilers for Brooklyn 99 are dead ahead so consider this your warning.

That part of 24 Hours was inspired by Teddy constantly proposing to Amy, which he does even after Amy and Jake are married and have a baby on the way. So if we run with "Haru as Teddy" then yes, he does keep proposing to Katara anytime he sees her. And now I kind of want to write Haru proposing to Katara while she's super pregnant with the first steambaby.

But in reality I think Haru ends up doing his best to move on, but for him Katara will always be the one that got away. He's happy enough with whoever he settles down with, but it's never quite the same, you know? Until he bumps into Katara and Zuko years later, and he sees how they look at each other, and he can't deny that they are meant for each other.
