Welcome back to more Bleach Dog AU, or should I say, more Sassy Byakuya-Dog! He wasn't gone long, and nobody here missed him (especially Renji)! This time he’s beating out our heroes in the fiercest battle there is, dog show contests. (Seriously, if you’re not a terrier, good luck.)

Needlessly long explanation and a bonus drawing underneath the cut!

This comic is based on the Bleach manga chapter, To Those Capturing the Moon, in which Byakuya fights Renji and basically tells him that he’s better than him because of his class. I figured being of a higher class in a dog-based society basically translated to breeding. The more “purebred”, the better, at least in the eyes of high society. That said, I’ve also seen this one manga scene translated, like three different ways, so it could be completely unrelated!

Though this does beg the question, are all fights in this universe just dog show competitions? Does the emotionally infused fight scene of Momo vs Hitsugaya vs Gin vs Matsumoto just have them all strutting at each other while making pained faces? Do they shout Bankai before jumping through hoops? It’s these very deep and important questions that we must now ponder, dear reader. 

Anyway, this has all gotten very silly, so I better stop here. Just so you all know, I kinda pushed too hard this week, so I'll probably be taking next week off.
