i hope this isn't too much of a hassle, but in king's rising when damen tells drunk laurent "you were drunk the first night i met you" and laurent says it was to make seeing damen easier, what does that refer to???? i kept searching and searching through bk 1 and i couldn't find the original drunk scene :( which sucks, because the "i miss you, i miss our conversations" talk is my FAVORITE part of the series and i want to understand it to its fullest. tysm in advance!

Hello! It's from near the end of chapter one. Easy to miss, with how flowery Damen decided to describe it instead of just saying "he's drunk" 😂

Laurent being baffled that Damen thinks he’s worthy of being protected. Laurent left speechless because Damen didn’t want random men to hurt him. Laurent being blown away that Damen thinks he should be courted with grace and honour.

As for Laurent, well you know what they say about meeting your heroes Laurent 😅 but not to worry, it do be like that sometimes 😂 I just hope that Damen will make-up for it.... he just has to last long enough to make Laurent cry the next time 😏
